Pro-Line 1/10th buggy front wings

Debuted at the 2016 Reedy Race of Champions, Pro-Line now officially introduce their all-new 1/10th buggy front wing and mount. The wing is placed in front of the shock tower and sits as low as possible for the cleanest air flow and lowest possible centre of gravity. Using the wing will keeping the buggy’s front end planted coming out of the corners, without doing the negative things that can come from a high centre of gravity wing while also pretty much retaining the overall look of the vehicle. The Pro-Line front wing sets include two wings in each package and each one has three different wing cut lines to adjust the amount of front downforce to what works best for the car and track conditions. The wing set is available for today’s most popular 2WD buggies inclining the Yokomo YZ-2, the Kyosho RB6, the TLR22 3.0 and the Team Associated B5M and they include tailor-made, digitally manufactured plastic wing mounts as well as mounting hardware.

AKA Crosslink 2.2 1/10th buggy rear tyre

AKA have introduced the Crosslink 2.2 rear tyre for 1/10th scale buggies. The tyre builds on the success of the 2.2 Chainlink and it features a symmetrical open tread pattern designed to break in quickly and provide a high amount of forward traction. This additional forward traction is perfect for today’s high-powered and allows a more aggressive steering setup without the worry of losing on-power control. The Crosslink has been designed for hard packed or blue groove, indoor and outdoor tracks and it is available in clay, ultra soft and super soft compounds as tyres with Red inserts.

SWorkz S350T US Edition 1/8th nitro truggy kit

SWorkz have introduced the S350T US Edition 1/8th nitro off-road truggy. The US project was started by the SWorkz USA team during the 2015 ROAR Nats and the improvements combined with many small new details resulted into a more balanced and faster truggy. The kit comes standard with LDS front and rear universal cross drive shafts, the S350 front steering knuckle kit, the Evo II rear hub carriers and the L-BBS shock system with new geometry R2.0 shock towers.

JConcepts RC8B3 Fin titanium turnbuckle set

JConcept’s popular Fin titanium turnbuckles are now also available for the Team Associated RC8B3 and RC8B3e. The base of the shafts design is centred on a beefy 5mm square titanium size which gradually tapers down into a thread base design which accepts the rod ends featured in the kit. The focus of the styling surrounds the lengthened adjustment area and the “finned” cuts that rotate about the centre. The JConcepts turnbuckles are produced with left and right hand threads with the left being conveniently marked for easy orientation and also available is a suitable 5mm turnbuckle wrench made from aluminium.

Serpent 35th Anniversary cap & bag

To celebrate their 35th Anniversary Serpent have issued a special merchandise line including a flat-brim cap and a transportation bag. The cap is made from black fabric and it sports embroidered Serpent and 35th Anniversary logos. As the for bag, it measures 400x300x90mm and it is usable for a range of applications including carrying a laptop computer, kits, tyres or accessories. Like the cap the bag is decorated with embroidered Serpent and 35th Anniversary logos and it sports a durable rubber carrying handle.

Team Magic E4RS III 1-piece inner arm mounts

Coming from Team Magic and made for the E4RS III and III Plus touring car are four new 1-piece inner arm mounts. Made to replace the standard split arm mounts the parts help to adjust the chassis flex as they offer a higher rigidity than the 2-piece blocks. The CNC-machined and black anodised aluminium mounts are available as front FR and rear RF part in 0 or -2 configuration.

Motogo Seiki TRF201XMW MSLowRider conversion

Motogo Seiki are currently working on a low-profile gearbox set for Tamiya’s TRF201XMW 2WD off-road buggy. These so called “low rider” gearboxes are en vogue in today’s 2WD buggy racing especially when competing on high to very-high grip surfaces like carpet and astro turf. Called the MSLowRider the Motogo Seiki part sports machined aluminium gearbox halves, a lightweight motor plate with venting cut-outs and it is of a 3 gear design, aligning the motor, layshaft, idler gear and differential pretty much in one line, making for a very low centre of gravity and a forward placed motor with helps to increase corner speed significantly. The conversion is currently in use by young Japanese driver Kouki Kato and we bring you more information on the parts as soon as they become availbale.

Team C TC10 carbon steering stiffener set

New from Team C and made for the TC10 and TR10 1/10th electric touring cars is a carbon fibre steering stiffener set. The set connects the steering posts with the inner floating steering servo mount to reinforce the front section of the chassis. It is understood that the assembly also allows to run the car with a floating steering which in turn makes for less influence of the chassis flex on the steering characteristics. Included in the set are new inner and outer servo mounts, a carbon fibre upper plate as well as a carbon fibre steering post brace.
