Losi Ten SCTE Troy Lee Designs RTR

Horizon Hobby introduce the Ten SCTE Troy Lee Designs RTR 4WD short course truck. Based on the 2013 and 2014 ROAR Nationals winning vehicle the kit offers a factory assembled 4WD shaft-driven chassis, sturdy suspension components and full RTR specifications with a 3900kv Dynamite 540-size 4-pole brushless motor, a 130A LiPo-compatible and waterproof Dynamite speed controller, a Spektrum DX2E 2.4GHz radio set and waterproof Spektrum steering servo and electronics. The truck comes including a pre-painted bodyshell rocking the TLD logo and graphics, black and orange beadlock design wheels and grippy racing tyres.

Schelle B44.3 -3mm chassis & B5 uprights

Coming soon from Schelle are some new options for the Associated B5 and B44.3. For the B5 there is a new 2-piece aluminium rear hub. The new design helps prevent the ball being pulled from the upright in an impact, while at the same time being replaceable if it gets damaged. Only 1 gram heavier than the stock part it features molded bearing inserts and allows for fine adjustment of the link position, relative to the upright, through the use of shims. For the 4wd B44.3 there is a new 3mm shorter aluminium chassis plate with corresponding top deck. The new setup helps create more on power traction as well as make the car turn more fluidly in the corners. Finally from Schelle is a small bottle of synthetic bearing oil, which is the same oil used on their ceramic bearings, but can now be used on all your bearings for its very fine low drag characteristics. Comes in a handle bottle with fine tip for precise application.

Exotek TRF, TB & DETC410 alloy rear wheel axles

New from Exotek come 7075 aluminium rear wheel axles that are usable on the Tamiya TRF419, 418, 417, TB04 and Evo6 as well as the Team Durango DETC410. The parts are designed for expert touring car drivers who seek for an extra advantage in spec class racing as the alloy axle scrubs weight on the expense of some durability. The parts weigh in at only 1.55g per piece and they greatly reduce rotating mass and unsprung weight but due to their aluminium construction they are not recommended for modified racing or tracks with hard track barriers. They are compatible with new G clip or older screw type TRF CVD axles and come polished and hard anodised.

WRC TS01 touring car carpet tyres

WRC introduce their new TS series touring car rubber tyres. First up is the TS01, a tyre specially designed for carpet racing as it offers a very homogenous traction level and good durability. The tyres are available pre-glued on white disc rims, they are 100 percent made in Italy and come in special cans that allow for easy storage and transportation while keeping the rubber fresh at the same time.

MCD RR5 cab forward bodyshell

MCD Racing have a new optional bodyshell for the RR5 large scale buggy available. Sporting a distinctive cab forward design and an aggressive overall appearance the body is meant to produce more front and centre downforce, resulting in a more aggressive steering response. A cutout in the rear section improves engine cooling for better overall performance in hot weather and the body comes with a spark plug protector that keeps away harm from the engine in the event of a roll-over.

Team Azarashi B5M prototype bodyshell

Japanese company Team Azarashi have first images of their yet unnamed prototype bodyshell for the Team Associated B5M buggy available. Sporting the distinctive Azarashi lines the body does away with today’s ubiquitous cab forward design in favour of a more conventional looking mid cab appearance. We do not have a release date yet but we bring you more information as soon as they become available.

Team Titan H.V. 40mm cooling fan with tabs

Team Titan have a new 40mm cooling fan available that features an open board with solder tabs for the receiver connection wire over the standard fixed wire most of today’s units offer. The high voltage high speed fan comes with an easy to replace 170mm black universal plug wire than can be cut to length to allow for professionally looking wiring jobs.

RDRP B5 aluminium wing mount set

Revolution Design Racing Products introduce the B5 aluminium wing mount for Team Associated’s rear motor 2WD buggy. Designed to replace the standard plastic mount with a more durable solution the parts are machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and they are coming blue anodised for improved looks. The wing mount is not only a lot more durable than the kit parts but also makes for a more solid base especially for larger or heavier wings, which leads to improved aerodynamic efficiency. As usual with RDRP’s latest line of Team Associated options the parts sport a cool blue colour and laser-etched logos for that factory look.
