SWorkz Concept S104 Evo 1/10th buggy

SWorkz introduce the Concept S104 Evo 4WD 1/10th scale buggy. Sporting a revised design with updated suspension geometry and shock absorbers the buggy makes also use of the FCSS and Evo 2 systems known from the company’s 1/8th scale buggies. The new stronger suspension arms also add durability and performance as does the standard centre differential that is easily replaced by a slipper clutch if conditions call for it. The buggy is meant to make a first appearance in the hands of SWorkz’s Atsushi Hara at the upcoming Reedy Race of Champions.

Reedy R-Power T-shirt & W15 hoodie

Reedy have new merchandise available in the form of the R-Power T-shirt and the W15 hooded sweatshirt. The T-shirt is 100 percent cotton emblazoned with the up-and-coming R-Power logo up front and with the traditional Reedy Powered logo out back. The W15 hoodie features a 50/50 cotton and polyester blend to cut the chill and the sweatshirt sports the iconic Reedy Powered logo across the front, making it perfectly suitable for the track or daily wear. Both are available in adult S to XXXL sizes.

Avid B5/T5 vented motor plate & pink 17mm wheelnuts

Avid have a new vented motor plate for the Team Associated B5 and T5 as well as pink 17mm Triad wheelnuts available. Starting with the motor plate, the part is made for the use with the B5 and B5M buggies as well as the new T5M truck and it helps to scrub weight while allowing hot air and dirt to get out of the gear cover. The 48 degree angled vents are placed to remove material above the motor, yet still maintain a rigid motor plate to keep gear mesh consistent. The part is fully CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and it comes black anodized with chamfered edges for that luxury look.

This kit version will accept standard 1/8th scale brushless 4-pole systems and most industry standard stick packs. Officially licensed, precision Icon Vehicle Dynamics aluminium shocks are standard equipment and deliver smooth suspension movement for consistent handling. Axial also included a medium, 3.4mm rear sway bar, 3mm aluminium lower link plates, aluminium 17mm hex hubs and nuts, adjustable steel turnbuckles, and officially licensed 3.8 Falken WildPeak M/T tires in S30 compound.

MIP 1/5th scale 54mm 8-shoe racing clutch

MIP introduce their new 54mm 8-shoe racing clutch for 1/5th scale applications. As the stock clutch is non-rebuildable, heavy, prone to loose its edge in the first 15 minutes and fades quickly after, and most of all it takes a long time for the engine to spool up and the clutch to engage properly MIP have come up with a dedicated design to overcome these downfalls. With months of direct input from MIP’s engineering and race team the 54mm racing clutch hits harder faster, its shoe longevity is vastly improved, and when shoes and springs do wear out there’s no need to ditch the entire assembly as it is completely rebuildable. The lightweight design scrubs 50 percent of rotating mass, the 7075 aluminium construct offers 4, 6 or 8-shoe adjustability and it is a direct replacement on most large scale vehicles.

Blaze Racing Awesomatix caster setting pointers

Available now from Blaze Racing are caster setting pointers for Awesomatix’ A700 touring car. Machined from 7075 aluminium and designed for the use with “tall” 1/10th off-road setup stations the 44mm pointers help to precisely set the caster angles on the complex Russian tourer. Each pointer sports an engraved logo and the set is available in natural or anodised black, red or gold colour. Custom engravings are available on request.
