CSO Racing have released this rear axle pulley for the Serpent 966 and 960. Made from 7075 T6 aluminium, this 51T pulley has been lightened through strategically positioned holes and thanks to additional holes along the side walls of the teeth it will help prevent the build of dirt which can damage the rear belt.

Finally the much hyped and long awaited first release from JQ Products, THE Car, has finally been unveiled. Rather than give us the full low down on the cars features and strengths JQ has decided to explain the ins and outs of THE Car in a 7-part story. “I will explain why it is designed the way it is, why and how I made the decisions that I made, and what I believe I have managed to achieve. Usually new cars are discussed on the internet forums, and no one REALLY knows what the true story is. So I have decide to enlighten you, and elaborate slightly on the normal run of the mill, “no-compromise aircraft grade 7075 chassis for optimum stiffness and cornering stability” and give you some real information.”

A Main Hobbies have announced a new line of ProTek R/C brand LiPo hard case power battery packs, with true 50C constant discharge rate. These packs include bullet connectors for charging and balancing, or a balance charge lead with a Deans style T-plug installed. The balance adapter included is an Align/E-Flite style XH balance connector. Built using a hard plastic case that is required for use at ROAR sanctioned tracks and events, the packs are available in multiple configurations from 1S for 1/12th scale pan cars to large 4S packs for 1/8th electric off-road buggies and truggies. Also released was a ProTek R/C brand LiFe battery packs for the Kyosho Mini-Z vehicles, with true 15C constant discharge rate.
HongNor have released their new BT-119 buggy tire with closed cell insert. The tire has been made with a special Butyl rubber compound and features a small top pin for light to heavy loose dirt, while the base pin is great on hard-packed surfaces. The Internal carcass ribbing helps reduce tire expansion under acceleration. The included closed cell insert offers low rebound, with no air gaps in between tires. Extremely durable and lightweight, they claim to be perfectly balanced.

Used by their team drivers at last week’s World Championships in Houston, Texas Capricorn RC have announced that their new LAB-E01-BC .12 engine, that we wrote about back in June, is available from next week. It sports a lightened, balanced and tuned crankshaft as well as a hand tuned piston and liner set. Other updates include the use of a ceramic main bearing and of course updated cooling head graphics.

Team Titan have introduced a new Blitz shell for the Serpent S811 Cobra buggy. The body provides more space for the pipe and manifold compared to the original as well as more room around the engines to help with cooling. Available in standard 1mm as well as super strong 1.5mm versions.
