By popular demand JConcepts is bringing the Rulux design to short course racing. Suitable for the HPI Blitz, these wheels are 1:1 inspired and offer a look that is unmistakably JConcepts. No detail has been missed as the Rulux wheel incorporates a lug nut and spoke affect that emulates the real thing. Wheel profile, interior and exterior ribbing and spoke design were all areas of focus while creating the combination of durability, clearance, functionality and appearance. Losi’s new engine accessory set will work with .21 and .28 nitro engines and includes spring wire clamps for the air cleaner and vinyl caps to seal the engine. The spring wire clamps eliminate the need for pull-ties, making it quick and easy to remove the air filter for cleaning and using after run oil in the engine. The vinyl caps come in various sizes and feature carb venturi and needle valve opening for engine cleaning and storage. The Engine Accessory Set includes enough parts for two engines. Also new from Losi is this spool diff insert for the 8ight 2.0 and L8ight. This is one of the simplest tuning tools you can use for oval racing which replaces the spider gears in your center differential essentially making it a transfer case which sends full power to both the front and rear differentials full time.

New from VP Pro for the Agama A8 buggy are these CVD axles for the front and rear of the car. Made from titanium they are super light and strong, weighing in at only 5.92 grams each. VP Pro are planning to release a whole range of option parts for the A8 in the near future.

Following the pictures yesterday of Durango designer Gerd Strenge with his test DNX408, Durango has released some photos of Adam Skelding’s test car. Adam is the Team Manager for Team Durango UK and he has been putting a lot of time in recently testing the DNX408 and is very happy with the car’s performance so far. “This weekend, four test cars will be seen in public for the first time. As we are still testing the car, we have no expectations about making the A-main at all -we are simply testing, testing, testing and putting as many miles on the car as we can to iron-out any remaining issues before we move into production.”

Team Durango sent us through some images of their lead designer Gerd Strenge doing some final set-up testing on the new DNX408 prior to a public test this weekend. They also tell us that both Gerd, new 1/8th team driver Hupo Honigl and Adam Skelding have all been bust recently putting the car through its paces. We can expect more details on this new car soon.
