Hudy have released their quick camber gauge for 1/8 off-road cars, which allows for quick and easy camber checks for the most frequently-used wheel camber angles: 1, 2 and 3°. Lightweight, compact and easy to use it has been precision machined from premium-quality fiberglass material and individually inspected by special inspection tool to verify angle accuracy. Fine color printed for quick and easy recognition of camber angle it sports side cutouts to allow clearance for wheel axles.

The Yeah Racing aluminium spur gear stand is designed to hold a large range of your spur gears for easy storage. Capable of holding up to 10 spurs and compatible with all those used for 1/10th or 1/12th scale RC cars. The top of the stand is fastened with a body clip to hold the gears securely and furthermore, a rubber strip is attached to the body clip for ease of use.

Craft-RC have released their Much More developed CRST starter box, a compact, high torque starter that can be used to start most types of engines. Made from stainless steel and durable nylon composite parts, this starter comes completely assembled and ready for use in both on or off road configurations. Its ergonomically designed over size handle provides painless fatique free transport every time. In addition the starting flywheel mechanism can be reconfigured so that it can start engines placed along the chassis or perpendicular to the chassis. The starting mechanism utilizes a large heavy duty 775 size motor with pulley/belt reduction system to produce the torque required for new 21 sized engines. Furthermore, the alignment posts are adjustable from the top with a single tool for easy set-up.

KM Racing Touring Car setup wheels

KM Racing have released this set of 4 setup wheels for use with 1/10th scale touring cars. Machined from aluminium, so lightweight, they are available anodised in red, blue and gun metal. Sporting a rubber o-ring around the circumference of the disk, the car will not slide around when checking settings and also wont scratch the surface its placed upon. The wheels offer a consistent wheel size for checking ride height and a flat side for measuring camber and toe settings.

Xray NT1 Alu Monoblock Engine mount

Xray have released this optional monoblock engine mount for the NT1. Providing solid engine mounting and easy adjustment, the unique keyed-mount design allows for the easy removal and replacement of the engine without the need for gear mesh re-adjustment after every replacement. The smartly-designed mounting system consists of two components, an adjustable base mounted to the chassis, and a pair of upper mounts (sold separately) which remain attached to the engine crankcase that key to the adjustable base. The monoblock provides a stiffer design than the standard single engine mounts but is still a bit more flexible than the Multi-Flex 1-piece engine mounting system, and is recommended for low and medium traction conditions.

Pro-Line Suburbs 2.2" Buggy Rear tires

Pro-Line have released their Suburbs for use on 2.2″ buggy rear wheels. Available in the company’s M3, MX and MC compounds for loose dirt/cool surface, blue-groove/high heat and clay conditions respectively, they were used at the 2008 ROAR 1/10 Off-Road Nationals, by Ryan Cavalieri who dominated the 2wd modified buggy class. Featuring an inner and outer radius rib tread for increased corner holding and predictable side-bite, the internal carcass webbing resist tire expansion under acceleration and deceleration while the internal sidewall ribbing maintains sidewall structure in extreme traction conditions for greater corner control. The tread height is predictable, aggressive, and long-lasting for use on a variety of blue-groove track and surfaces where you would typically run soft compound tires.

HPI Racing 1/32nd Scale racers & HB D8 Flux

The Shizuoka show is on this weekend in Japan, and as usual the Japanese companies are out in force showing their new products at their home show. HPI Racing have released a number of new items, the most interesting of which being the new Racing 32 H-01 and H-02 chassis’, which as the name suggests is a new 1/32nd scale racer. The H-02 chassis shown above, is a full race spec version with carbon throughout and is essentially a tiny Cyclone 12X pan car, complete with foam tires. The H-01 is the RTR version of the same car and features lightweight plastics throughout and will come with a beautiful scale body and is supplied with a 2.4Ghz radio system, as well as a charger / workbench. Also new on the same stand from Hot Bodies is the Flux powered version of the World Championship winning D8 buggy. This brushless car is still only a prototype, but from the pictures you can see that it retains the mechanical brake system, has a composite plastic chassis and a forward mounted motor.

Associated RC10R5-Oval Factory Team Kit

Team Associated have just announced the new RC10R5-Oval Factory Team Kit, due for release in June. The 10R5-Oval is built on a 2.5mm woven carbon fibre chassis that utilizes a T-plate and 3-shock setup to suspend the newly designed rear pod. Optimized for brushless, the new rear pod features a 3-point upper pod plate with an aluminium stand-off that increases stiffness and dissipates heat by transferring the heat from the motor mount to the left rear bulkhead, keeping the motor cooler throughout the run.
