We showed you the second generation RB Pit Box back in February when it was first shown at the Toy Fair and it has just now been released. The ultimate tool for serious gas racers, it has a spot for a fuel gun, fuel bottle, wrenches, starter box and anything else you need to bring with you into the pit area. Thanks to its stiffer design, and its use of lightweight material it is 25% lighter than the original pit box from RB and this new version supplied with a smart looking orange bag making it really easy to carry when disassembled.

Hiro Seiko release Tool range

Taiwanese company Hiro Seiko have announced the release of their new range of Professional R/C tools. Featuring handles that have been machined from 20mm diameter aluminium, they are easy to grip thanks to the knurling and cannot roll of your work bench because of machined flat sides. Available with a wide range of tips, including a range of nut spinners, they are sold with various coloured handles that each sport the Hiro Seiko logo embossed on a plate, as well as engraving on the handle which includes the tip size.

Exotek EXO3 Micro RS4 Conversion

Exotek Racing have made a limited release conversion for the HPI Micro RS4, the car that is said to have started the whole micro craze. This is the next step in the evolving EXO chassis, released thanks to HPI starting up the HPI Challenge races again in 2008. Cleaner and lighter layout for a more efficient performing chassis, it has been designed for use with LiPo cells and Mamba/Tekin brushless motor systems and is available in 140mm or 150mm wheel base. The EXO3 also has the most advanced and smoothest rear suspension to date on the MRS4 thanks to the VCS oil shock and 5 link swiveling rear pod.

Japanese company Team Azarashi have shown the first pictures of the Cracker prototype, which is a new 2WD body shell that the company is developing. The release date is not yet decided, but their Team is working hard to get it to production following some positive testing and when released it should fit to Team Associated RC10B4 and the Kyosho Ultima RB5.

These new 1/10 Xcelorin 6400kV motor from Losi is said to offer features and specifications desired by the electric RC enthusiasts. Features like low-profile solder tabs with a protective cover, precision ball bearings for smooth operation, Sintered Neodymium rotors and best of all no motor maintenance is required. Expect it to hit the market later this month.

Schumacher Cat SX Competition buggy

Schumacher have released the first pictures of the new Cat SX Competition 4WD Off-Road buggy that was announced at the recent Nurnberg Toy Fair. Scheduled in for an early summer release, the large amount of testing that has taken place will make it will be well worth the wait. The car shown in these pictures are still with some prototype parts and they hope to show some body off pictures next week. The car will be launched in two formats to enable the customer to choose which battery type they prefer, 4×2 NiMh or Lipo.
