New Spring sets from Serpent

More new products from Serpent, this time its the release of 2 sets of new series shock springs, which are suitable for use with all current and previous Serpent shock absorbers. Sold in sets of 5 pairs of springs, 1 set contains 23mm length springs, 1mm longer than the older version, for the front of 1/8th scale chassis’ and both the front and rear of 1/10th scale chassis’, while the 2nd set contains 27mm springs for use on the rear of 1/8th scale chassis’. Featuring a new colour rating these new series of springs are of a better quality, coming with ground flat ends, and as they no longer have a colour coating they function more accurately. The spring’s hardness is now identified by the coloured paint on the springs tip.

Serpent 3mm Carbide balls

 Serpent 3mm Carbide balls

Serpent have released these 3mm carbide balls for their new S400 1/10th EP touring car. Sold in a pack of 10, the balls are made from tungsten carbide and are suitable for use in the cars ball differential. These balls are incredibly hard and last much longer than the standard versions thanks to their resistance to flat spotting.

Available in a number of different sizes the top of the glove has been features a flexible, heat-resistant, padded material while the palm of the glove contains additional padding. JConcepts Illuzion Xray XT8 body

 JConcepts Illuzion Xray XT8 body

Yet another Illuzion Xray body from JConcepts, this time its for the XT8 truggy. This body comes in both standard and heavy duty thickness polycarbonate and features a stadium truck style that combines hard edge racing lines with a front hood scoop. The roof of the body has been dramatically wedged or “Illuzionized” for that aggressive look, while the rear of the body has been designed for extra bed durability.

JConcepts have released the Illuzion XB8EC body which comes complete in either standard or heavy duty polycarbonate. The Illuzion XB8 EC features enhanced hard edge side pod styling with runner flow channels on the sides designed to move the air more efficiently to the wing. The roof of the body has been dramatically wedged and Illuzionized for that aggressive look, while the front of the body has less of a transition from hood to window which gives it a more dramatic look.

Honest Kyosho Spada carbon parts

Honest Kyosho Spada carbon parts

Japanese company Team Honest have released a whole load of carbon parts for Kyoshos 1/12th scale gas powered Pan car, the Spada. The parts include a front upper plate made from 3mm carbon for extra front stiffness, a 2mm thick carbon fibre radio tray, a 2.5mm thick carbon body mount plate, 1.2mm brake plate and 1.5mm thick brake disk from carbon, a 3mm carbon rear upper plate and finally a receiver plate and a battery plate. All parts are of high quality and lightweight.
