Coming from Bezerk are new option top decks for the Yokomo BD9, BD8 and Team Associated TC7.2 touring cars. Offering a slim full-face design rather than the original wide cut-out appearance, the top decks will offer more flex all round which can be helpful both in low and high-grip track conditions. The upper decks are precision-cut from glossy 2.0mm carbon fibre and they are available now.

Available now from JConcepts are their Blockers 1/8th buggy tyres. The Blocker, a relative of the popular Stalkers and Reflex tyres, have an even tighter tread pattern for long main events or very abrasive conditions. The design team checked over the carcass dimensions, profile, overall height and width to assure the best balance of weight and drivability. The Blockers began with a Stalkers style pin which has slight angle on each side for separation at the top. This fine detail gives increased bite in wet conditions providing some versatility to the design. As the pins meet the base of the tyre, the spacing tightens considerably giving a stable footing for the Blockers. Using more pins the tyre offers exceptional stability and flexibility for fast qualifying when running softer compounds such as blue and green. The additional pin real-estate provides a lot of cushion for extended main events and when paired with long-wear compounds such as R2 and O2 the race pace can be pushed out to 45-60 minutes with ease. The stacked row configuration and simple connected pins offer massive forward acceleration. The aligned rows allow some surface drift making the tyres forgiving in sand and bumpy track sections. The outside pin has been clipped to help drive-ability and ease the initial turn-in drivers often have concern for. The tyres include the Dirt-Tech closed cell inserts and they are available in green, blue, R2 and O2 compounds.

RC Maker has introduced the new GeoCarbon cam steering limiters for the Awesomatix A800 touring cars. Weighing in at only 0.2g for the pair, they provide a super LCG and lightweight adjustable option for limiting the car’s steering lock. Adjusting steering lock is an incredibly important tuning option, and one that is not simply done with reducing the dual rate on the transmitter, as the limiters provide a stopper which is a much more effective way of controlling the steering lock. The parts provide four different steering lock settings thanks to the offset cam style design, which allows locks ranging from 22 deg inside to 29 deg inside when run with #AM14LS, 1mm Ackerman +1 deg toe out – simply by loosening the main screw, rotating the plate and re-tightening the screw. The limiters fit all chassis configurations and servos and they are available now.
Capricorn have introduced a new backplate for the One .12 engines. The item was designed to accelerate the fuel and air mixture in the liner’s lateral port, resulting in improved fuel economy and smoother power delivery.

Bezerk from Australia have released vertical top decks for the Awesomatix A800X MMCX mid motor car. The part are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and work in combination with the MMCX mid motor conversion and the VTD set for the standard A800X. The vertical top decks are available in stiff 2.0mm or flexible 1.6mm variants, allowing to adjust overall chassis stiffness.

Coming from VSR is their Project Thor wireless transmitter battery charging system. Designed for the use with induction charging capable transmitters, such as the Sanwa M17, but also an upgrade for many standard radio systems, the charger set includes the charging station as well as a transmitter battery pack and wireless receiver unit that will be housed in the transmitters battery compartment and that allow “touch-less” charging. The charger unit will be custom-build by VSR to match the respective transmitter while coloured LED units allow for further customisation.
