RC Cars Cavalieri from Germany have introduced a carbon fibre rear shock tower for the TLR 8ight-X buggy. Machined from high-quality material and offers various shock and camber link locations the part is a direct replacement for the kit’s alloy shock stay with the carbon part being understood to offer a lower weight and additional traction on very bumpy tracks.

Exotek have released two new aluminium option parts for the Team Associated 6 series of kits in the form of 2-tone rear hubs and a buggy wing mount set. Starting with the rear hubs, the stealthy 2-colour anodised alloy rear uprights fit the B64, T6.1 and SC6.1. The customised polished black base with blue chamfered accents goes great with stock plastic parts or after market blue parts and through careful cutting and shaping the hubs are actually 2g lighter than the alloy Team Associated counterparts. The set includes 2mm roll centre alloy spacers to match the stock geometry of the AE alloy hubs and Exotek’s updated design works as either the left or right hub, giving racers more camber link hole options.

Coming from Factory RC is a new battery retention system for the Team Associated 6 series of off-road kits, such as the B6.1, T6.1 and SC6.1. The system utilises 3mm black or blue weave carbon fibre along with a colour matched aluminium spacer and stock hardware for a secure and highly adjustable retaining system. The system allows for battery float to allow the chassis to work independently which can provide better grip, less chassis “snap”, and a better overall driving vehicle. The battery hold down system is available now in both traditional black weave carbon fibre, and our blue weave carbon fibre material.

The vehicle is based on the Pro-MT 4×4 platform and was designed from the ground up, delivering durability and performance while being very versatile. Bittydesign from Italy have introduced their new JP8HR 190mm touring car body shell. Building on the success of the popular JP8 body, the JP8HR offers the same ultra high downforce design but with improved mid-corner rotation for even faster cornering, all without compromising rear end stability. The body will excel on asphalt and carpet surfaces and it especially comes in handy on ETS and CRC-clad tracks. The lid is moulded from high-quality 0.75mm Lexan polycarbonate, it meets the 90g ETS rule and comes including stickers, window masks and wing mounting hardware.
Arrma have introduced their new Typhon 4×4 3S BLX 1/8th scale off-road ready-to-run buggy. The vehicle builds on a composite tub chassis for easy maintenance and protection with an easy access power module assembly allowing to extract the brushless motor with the removal of just one screw. The centre shaft assembly is telescopic to assist with easy disassembly and is sprung-loaded to ensure it stays in position during use. The easy-access electronics module assembly can be taken out with the removal of only five screws. The module offers quick and easy access to the servo, electronic speed controller and receiver. The two-piece moulding comprises a lower box and upper lid that are sealed with high-quality rubber seals. The ESC and steering servo are attached to this moulding, whilst the receiver sits inside the waterproof box. Both the front and rear diff modules are also easy to access, ensuring that you spend more time bashing and less time in the workshop. Other features include large volume shock absorbers, durable composite suspension arms and hubs as well as waterproof electronics – including a 3200kV brushless motor and 100A-rated speed controller – a pre-decorated body shell and grippy dBoots tyres.
RC Cars Cavalieri from Germany has introduced new carbon fibre option parts for the Team Associated RC8B3.1 buggy in the form of a LiPo box and an air filter guard. The LiPo box is a direct replacement for the standard composite battery mount, offering improved protection from dust, stones and moisture. The box bolts into place using the original mounting positions and it is available now. Also new is a carbon fibre air filter guard that attaches to the RC8B3.1’s fuel tank, ensuring improved protection from spilled fuel or the fuel bottle’s nozzle.
Adding to their already released 3-D-printed wing mounts for for touring car body shells such as the Protoform Type-S, Mon-Tech Racer and Bittydesign JP8, is Arena RC Racing’s new Protoform D9 wing mount. The insert was designed to reinforce the wing stay area for improved durability in crashes while also helping with downforce as both the body and wing can be more securely fastened. The mounts come as pairs and their honeycomb design ensures a low overall weight.
