Pro-Line have announced the soon release of the 1965 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser clear body for the 12.8” wheelbase Traxxas TRX-4. This single piece body is very light for a lower centre of gravity and improved crawling performance and is designed to drop right onto the stock 12.8” wheelbase TRX-4. Window masks, paint-then-peel overspray film and fully licensed detailed stickers are included to finish off the look.
Spektrum have introduced their new SR515, SR315 and SR215 DSMR sports class receivers. Built around frequency-agile DSMR technology, the receivers deliver superb range and response, especially in noisy RF environments where a solid 2.4GHz link is crucial. Not only is the 2.4GHz link solid, all models also implement Spektrum’s fast 5.5ms frame rate, providing a quicker, low-latency connection for the pro-level enthusiast. The SRx15 series receivers also feature a new, modern case design that is small, streamlined, and ready for nearly any RC application. The case also features added antenna support and an integrated antenna tube slot for seamlessly easy installation. An easy-to-use bind button is used to enter the bind mode. Plus, while binding, owners have the choice of SmartSafe as well as preset ‘Gas’ failsafe options. The receivers are available as SR515 5-channel, SR315 3-channel and SR215 2-channel variants from December.

Made for 12.3” wheelbase rock crawler trucks is Pro-Line’s new 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2 body shell. The ZR2 is one of the most popular and off-road capable mid-size trucks on the road, and now owners can bring its distinct look to separate their truck from the rest on the trails. Pro-Line has included all the sleek scale details of the full-scale truck including the unique off-road sport bars and sculptured hood details for a highly detailed replica. Coming from Team Associated are the new Factory Team 16mm tapered shock pistons for the RC8B3.1 and RC8T3.1 series of buggies and trucks. The tapered profile and angled holes of these new shock pistons improve handling through bumps and make the car jump flatter and land better. The angled holes also allow to run lower oil weights to generate more grip. They are precision CNC-machined for the best fitment and concentricity with the shock body to improve performance and consistency. The hole diameter os engraved onto piston for easy identification and there are two diameters to choose from: 1.2mm and 1.3mm. The pistons fit the Fits 16mm shock bodies on the RC8B3.1, RC8B3.1e, RC8T3.1, and RC8T3.1e.
Coming from Pro-Line is the new Night Hawk truggy body shell for the Mugen MBX8T kit. From the mind of Adam Drake and inspired from the success of the Enforcer, the Nighthawk retains the aggressive stance of the Enforcer but adds in some sleek, modern truck styling. It features a swooping roof and bed sections for improved airflow and high-speed stability. The hood of the body is steeper to create more down force over the front wheels for more steering and faster lap times. The body comes made from clear polycarbonate and includes window masks and a decal sheet.
Arrowmax have introduced their new red series 6200mAh Si-Graphene technology low-profile LiPo battery pack for touring car applications. Measuring 139mmx47mm and being 22.5mm tall the pack is lower than conventional 25mm packs for a lower overall centre of gravity while the high-performance 65C/130C promise a lower drop of of voltage over the run compared to charging LiHV packs to a standard 8.4V. The pack is good for the use with both modified and stock motors due to its exceptional punch.

Available soon from HPI Racing are the new Jumpshot ST and MT V2.0 1/10th scale 2WD trucks. Both feature a brand new look, tougher drivetrain gears, a more powerful motor and upgraded steering and suspension parts, plus a larger and easier to access battery box. Also the motor is now upgraded to an extra-powerful 12-turn, 550-size machinery and punchier gearing for extra speed and acceleration. With a T-plug battery connection, it’s also easy to instantly fit a LiPo battery. No word yet on a release date.
Coming soon from Xray is the XT2C’19 1/10th scale 2WD stadium truck kit. Sharing the same platform as the recently introduced XT2D’19 Dirt Spec kit, the Carpet Spec truck is understood to be a dedicated variant for medium to ultra high grip astro turf and carpet tracks. Full details will surface in time for the release.
