Yokomo YD-2RX Teams Edition drift car

Yokomo have introduced a limited edition ‘Teams’ version of their YD-2RX drift car. While based on the RX’s motor layout for high rear traction, the use of the Teams’ main chassis ensures a good steering feel. Not only does it have a sharp response to cornering, but it also provides better control while cornering. The suspension is also fully tuned with SLF big bore shocks, Team’s tapered shock pistons, titanium coated shock shafts and high grade O-rings, combined with the latest drifting springs for a competitive suspension. Other features include brass rear suspension mounts to improve rear traction, a LW integrated bulkhead to reduce front weight and a lightweight slide rack for weight balance. Available in red, black or purple versions.

RC Maker X4 carbon option parts

RC Maker have produced more new carbon items for the Xray X4, starting with this GeoCarbon floating front servo mount plate. It offers the ability to float the steering off the chassis, removing any interference with chassis flex. The bonus of this, is it’s also possible to lower the whole steering rack in the car by installing shims under the bellcrank posts and removing them from the steering arm (to maintain the same bump steer). RC Maker clam that this lowers the whole centre of gravity of the car, yielding faster response and more agile handling.

Core RC high response medium springs

Introducing the new Core RC high response medium springs for the front of 1/10th offroad buggies. Developed by Schumacher engineers and high level drivers over a wide range of conditions, from low grip dirt to high grip carpet. These springs have been made to improve the responsiveness of the cars, compared to the alternative Core RC and Schumacher big bore springs. They feature less coils and have a thinner wire diameter. They also offer a handy weight saving, by an average 3 grams per pair over previous Core RC springs. For use on the front of the Cougar LD2, Cat L1 EVO and other cars using big bore shocks.
