Mugen MRX6R radio plate stiffener

Coming from Mugen and made for their MRX6R 1/8th on-road car is a carbon fibre radio plate stiffener. The V-shaped brace connects the front bulkhead with the steering bellcrank which results in reduced front end flex and thus greater stability and steering precision when running on high-grip tracks. Using the part will also make steering reaction more consistent. The part is made from high-quality carbon fibre and a direct fit.

Yeah Racing Traxxas TRX-4 power switch extension

Yeah Racing have introduced a power switch extension for the Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck that does away with the need to take the body off in order to reach the on/off switch. The extension lever tucks neatly underneath the rock slider and will not come into contact with rocks for accidental power downs while still allowing for an easy reach. The set is a direct fit for the standard TRX-4 truck and it is available now.

RCLabHK TA07 carbon fibre chassis – Coming soon

RCLabHK have announced the soon release of their new carbon fibre main chassis kit for the Tamiya TA07 touring car. Designed for low to medium traction outdoor tracks the chassis will improve the car’s overall performance in demanding track conditions. The chassis is set for a release in September.

VRP XV3 HT high temp 1/8th shock pistons

VRP has just released their newest piston for 1/8th vehicles, the XV3 HT High Temp. The reasoning behind the HT version of the company’s popular XV3 piston is to be able to run shock oils in the normal 30wt-40wt range during the hot summer months. By installing the new XV3 HT, drivers can instantly drop oils 10wt from where they were before and tune from there. VRP will offer the new HT piston in 6×1.3 and 8×1.3 versions for all the popular vehicles. All are CNC-cut and hand-drilled for accuracy.

Tamiya Ferrari 312T3 1/10th formula kit

Coming soon from Tamiya is the limited edition Ferrari 312T3 F104W 1/10th scale formula pan car kit. The full-scale 312T3 made its debut in the 1978 South African Grand Prix and drivers C. Reutemann and G. Villeneuve took the 312T3 to four victories for the season and the runner-up spot in the 1978 Constructors’ Championship. Tamiya’s recreation utilises the F104W chassis that is equipped with has F103 front suspension arms to replicate the wide form of the 312T3. It utilizes an FRP semi-double deck chassis and a longitudinal battery position. The included wings and wheels are metal plated and the kit also comes with a separate standard polycarbonate body that is also included in the kit. The gear case allows five different ground clearances and the kingpin coil spring front and T-bar rear suspension setups provide smooth and precise driving characteristics. The vehicle rolls on soft foam tyres and also included for two markings for the #11 and #12 car.

Arrma Notorious 6S 1/8th scale electric monster truck

Arrma have introduced their new Notorious 6S BLX 1/8th scale electric ready-to-run monster truck. The rig utilises a 3mm thick anodised aluminium chassis, three full-metal geared differentials, beefy suspension components and steel driveshafts for performance and durability while composite side guards keeping away the elements for go-everywhere ability. Long travel suspension arms and big-bore aluminium shock absorbers soak up any terrain imperfections and the 6S LiPo-compatible 4-pole BLX 2050kV brushless motor ensures for reliable power supply. The ready-to-run specifications also include a 150A rated VLX185 sped controller, a 15kg-cm steering servo and a 2.4GHz radio system. The package is rounded out by a pre-painted body shell, in either black or blue colour, and grippy dBoots Back-Flip tyres.

Think RC MTC1 1-piece spools & front diff pulley

Coming from Think RC and made for Mugen’s MTC1 electric touring car are a new 1-piece spool and front diff pulleys. Starting with the 1-piece spook, the part has been designed to provide further weight savings over the standard drivetrain, helping to improve steering and drivetrain efficiency. It is available in both standard 34T configuration, and as a 38T variant to go with the Think RC’s 38T Pulley conversion kit.
