SWorkz introduce updated Zeus RTR monster truck

SWorkz’s Zeus 1/8th electric Pro monster truck has received an update with the latest vehicles utilising a “truggy” gear ratio for better acceleration with the included large diameter tyres. The update is a running change that will make for improved acceleration of the basher truck. The updated kit is available from now on.

The hard-case 7.4V Lithium-Polymer battery is made from highest-quality 100C Graphene-technology cells for all-out competition use in on-road and off-road classes and it features 5mm bullet-type connectors for improved power supply. In addition to the Red Tab competition series of batteries, Summum Brothers will soon also introduce Green Tab club-level packs as well as a line of accessories.

Answer-RC S35-3 series carbon fibre arm stiffeners

Answer-RC from the UK have introduced front and rear carbon fibre arm stiffeners for the SWorkz S35-3 series of buggies and cars. They are made of thicker 1.5mm carbon fibre and include 6mm screwed rather than 5mm fasteners. They come separately for the front and the rear of the vehicle and fit the S35-3 platforms including the S35-3, S35-3E, S35-3GT and S35-GTE.

RT MBX8 carbon fibre battery box & mud guards

RMV Deutschland have introduced new Reckward-Tuning option parts for the Mugen MBX8 and MBX7 buggies. First up is a moulded carbon fibre battery box with kevlar reinforcements. While being extremely light of weight the box is also highly durable for its weight and it scrubs valuable weight while looking the part. The box is slightly larger than the standard battery box, allowing the use of either larger batteries or more effective foam protection. The box comes with a separate lid and it is a direct fit.

Xpress tease Execute XQ1S club-level touring car

Xpress have released a first image of their forthcoming XQ1S club-level touring car kit. The car is based on the full-breed XQ1 competition kit, however several fibreglass parts and other simplifications will make the kit more wallet-friendly for newcomers and club racers. The car is set for a release in April and all information including images should become available soon.

Made from high-quality 40C cells the battery comes in an oval diameter hardcase that is usable in a wide range of applications, from RTR and sports-type cars, buggies and trucks over to starter boxes and many more. The pack comes pre-wired with an industry-standard XH balancer plug and an Ultra T or Tamiya-style power plug.

Serpent Spyder MT2 RTR monster truck

Serpent have announced the release of their first ever monster truck, the Spyder MT2 RTR. Coming under the Serpent Sports banner, the vehicle makes use of the proven Spyder 2WD off-road platform and it features long-travel suspension components, 12mm RCM big bore shock absorbers as well as a rear motor transmission with fluid-filled gear differential. Spring steel transmission parts make for exceptional durability while large front and rear composite bumpers protect the suspension, chassis and transmission parts. The truck comes factory assembled and including a waterproof 45A speed controller, a 3000kV 9T Dragon-RC brushless motor and a durable metal gear steering servo. The ready-to-run package is rounded out by a pre-painted truck body shell and a 2.4GHz radio system.

T-Works YZ-4 titanium ball end set

Coming from T-Works and made for the Yokomo YZ-4 series of buggies is a titanium ball end set. The kit contains 14 64 grade ball ends that are a direct replacement for the standard steel items. Using the lightweight Ti parts will reduce the overall weight, make for a lower centre of gravity and overall cooler looks.
