Zero Tribe T4 FWD conversion – Concept

Zero Tribe from Japan have released a first rendering of their FWD conversion kit for the Xray T4 [2016/17] series of 4WD touring cars. Coming from the same mind as the Spice BD7 FWD kit, the design uses as many original parts as possible without making compromises in terms of performance. No running prototypes are existing yet but it is understood that Zero Tripe plan to getting the car produced in case of positive test results.

Team C Racing TM2 V3 2WD off-road buggy

Coming soon from Team C Racing is their TM2 V3 2WD off-road buggy. The inline mid-motor kit, that is designed for high to very high bite track conditions, will be based off of a new aluminum chassis with plastic side rails, it comes with the TM4-design slipper clutch and a new motor mount. A redesigned body shell is rounding out the package with the kit being ready to hit stores in March.

Sweep Racing V4 formula tyres

Sweep Racing have introduced their all-new V4 tyres for 1/10th formula cars. Available as full slick or grooved pattern variant, the full slick is best used on high grip tracks were it allows for smooth cornering and provides an overall easier driving feel while being also usable on damp asphalt surfaces. The grooved tyres however are meant to excel in low grip asphalt conditions as well as on standing water or very wet tracks but also in dusty and greasy conditions. The tyres are available in both carpet and asphalt compounds on black colour wheels and they fit most of today’s formula pan cars.

Exotek EB Edge EB410 body shell – Teaser image

Exotek have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming EB Edge body shell for the Tekno RC EB410 1/10th 4WD off-road buggy. The shell is of an all-new design and despite offering a low slung appearance it will allow to run the top-mounted motor cooling fan. The shell will hit stores by the end of February.

STRC SCX10 II brass suspension knuckles & rear lockouts

STRC have introduced new option parts for the Axial SCX10 II truck in the form of brass front suspension knuckles and rear lockouts. The front steering knuckles are machined from high quality brass material with a black finish, then CNC machined again for the bearing holes keeping tight tolerance and precision on the bearing area. When combined with the brass Rear Lock-out, a total of over 100g of weight towards the lower parts of the SCX10 II can be added.

Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer Pro-Scale RTR

Traxxas have introduced their new Unlimited Desert Racer Pro-Scale ready-to-run truck. The 694mm long off-road truck offers extreme scale realism with performance to match as it features an independent front suspension, 4-link rear solid axle and a capable 4WD drivetrain. The core of the truck is the inverted tub chassis that allows to replace batteries without removing the body or drop the entire motor and transmission assembly as a single unit. The design also concentrates weight as low as possible for exceptional handling. The versatile battery compartment allows the use of dual 2S or 3S LiPos or a single 4S brick.

Avid introduce EB410 option parts

Coming from Avid and made for the Tekno RC EB410 buggy are several new option parts. First up is a 4-piece set of FastTune titanium shock standoffs that allow to use a common 1.5mm Allen wrench to prevent the standoff from spinning while using a 5.5mm socket wrench on the other side. The parts are machined from billet 6Al-4V titanium and weight in at about 1.07g per piece which scrubs valuable weight from one of the highest parts of the chassis.

Hot Race Tyres The Black Glue tyre glue

Hot Race Tyres have introduced their new The Black Glue tyre glue. Specially formulated the adhesive dries about 60 percent to 70 percent faster while offering a stronger bond and improved temperature resistance compared to standard glues thanks to a special, black chemical. The tyre glue becomes available by beginning of February.
