American based ProStar RC has released these new Aluminium Bulkheads intended for use on the 1:10 chassis offerings from Tekno. Suitable for the SC410SL, ET410, EB410, & .2 versions, as well as the SC2410T Short Course Conversion by ProStar RC, the are produced from T7 Aluminium and gold anodise finished. Laser engraved with the ProStar RC logo the bulkhead upgrade weights 44 grams and offers much greater durability than the kit standard part.

This innovation takes all the noise and fuss out of braking for your nitro vehicle as you enjoy backyard bashing or simply winning races and chasing titles. The Mag Brake makes it simple using only 8 parts. Eliminating up to 47 parts from the conventional brake system in a Nitro Car including multiple linkages, cams, springs, screws, stops, spacers, bearings, rods, pads and the large throttle brake servo. To install simply remove your centre bulkhead and differential. Re-using the stock differential and top plate, install their universal mag brake and car model-specific adapter kit in minutes. Power is supplied using the standard 7.4vdc receiver pack with a Dean’s plug for quality on and off connection. Connect the Mag brake controller to your throttle servo, front and rear magnets and to the receiver. Setup is simple, download the free Android or IOS application, power up your car, pair and adjust using their powerful class 1 Bluetooth, capable of up to 300feet depending on your model of phone. The first release in from July with versions for the RC8B4, TLR 8ightX and MBX8R expected with others to follow and for 1/5 scale in December of this year.

Coming from ProStar R/C and made for TLR’s 22-4 series of 1/10th scale 4WD buggies is a Kevlar shock tower kit. Made to replace the standard composite shock towers the set includes a rear glass-reinforced nylon bulkhead as well as 4mm Kevlar front and rear shock towers. Using the items will lower the overall weight and centre of gravity while making for improved stability. The towers are available in several colours including custom tones and they fit both the 22-4 and 22-4 2.0.

Coming soon from ProStar R/C is the centre brace kit for the Team Associated B64 and B64D buggies. The design allows to change the diff without having to take off the top deck plates and it also incorporates screws for the front servo bracket. The rear top plate also allows compatibility to adjust the rear flex of the vehicle by using two support screws or if the driver wants more flex, a single support point. These options allow for countless possibilities of adjustment so drivers can find the proper traction on the race track. The custom diff gear cover is made from a high-tech aerospace additive manufactured carbon plastic while the carbon plates are available in red, black, crystal green, crystal Blue, and navy blue. The product will be available by special order around the week of March 16th.

Prostar R/C have introduced a set of carbon nylon pills for the TLR 8ight 4.0. They have been designed to replace the stock and often sloppy inserts which are the main issue why hinge pins are bending. Prostar have made them from a special carbon nylon material for durability and strength and the set includes eight 0 degree, four 0.5 degree and four 1.0 degree inserts all of which are of a tight fitting design.

Pro Star RC have introduced these composite kevlar shock towers for the Sworkz s353 buggy. Made using their super hybrid composite, that includes blue or red fibres over kevlar with a carbon fibre core, they have developed this shock tower to not only be awesome looking but be structurally stronger and more durable than any other shock tower material on the market. The set includes both the front and rear tower in 5mm material and is available in blue or black.

The sandwich shock stays utilise gold or blue carbon fibre over a Kevlar layer with a carbon fibre core. This makes the shock towers structurally stronger and more durable while the outer layer adds a touch of colour. Lighter than stock the parts also lower the overall centre of gravity. The shock towers are available for the 8ight buggy and 8ight-T truck and also in limited edition red variants.

Pro Star R/C have introduced new carbon fibre and Kevlar option parts for JQRacing’s THE Car 1/8th scale buggy. First up are blue or gold Kevlar shock towers that are made using a special super hybrid Kevlar composite that not only adds visual impact but it also is structurally stronger and more durable than standard carbon fibre composites. The parts are made using a blue or gold carbon fibre layer over the Kevlar segement while being based on a carbon fibre core. Available for the front and rear of the buggy, the shock towers are also lighter than the stock parts for an overall lower centre of gravity.
