A Main Hobbies announces the all-new ProTek R/C line of digital, high-voltage servos. They feature standard dimensions, a metal-gear construction and dual ball bearings, include aluminum servo horns and come with plastic or aluminium cases. Available are the 100T (0.14s/10.6kg-cm), 100S (0.12s/8.8kg-cm), 230S (0.04/7.4kg-cm) and 250T (0.07s/18.9kg-cm).

The ProTek Prodigy 620 Duo is a multi-chemistry charger with two independent 400 watt channels, each with its own independent control panel, blue backlit LCD display, balance ports and sensor ports. It can charge LiPo, LiFe, or Li-Ion batteries up to 6S, 15-cell NiCd or NiMH batteries, and lead-acid batteries up to 20V. With the ability to fast charge, balance charge, and storage charge lithium cells, you can easily tailor the charge process to suit your needs, while individual cell voltage can be monitored during balance mode charging, allowing you to identify an imbalance in the cells and spot a weak cell before it becomes a problem. Other features include a dual-fan cooling system that utilises a push-pull design that will keep the charger cool, even when working at maximum capacity.

A Main Hobbies’ brand ProTek R/C announces its new “Sport Race” 25C LiPo Hard Case Battery Pack (11.1V/5000mAh) with Traxxas plug installed. This 3S pack has been developed specifically for Traxxas 3S LiPo applications and is recommended for the Traxxas Slash VXL, Slash 4×4 VXL, E-Revo Brushless, E-Maxx Brushless and XO-1 vehicles. The battery features a genuine Traxxas High-Current Connector for the ultimate in efficiency, ease of use and high current handling capabilities for charging/discharging, as well as a 4-pin Align/E-Flite style XH balance connector for balancing. Although these are not ROAR approved hardcase batteries, they are built using a hard lexan shell to help prevent damage in the event of a crash.

A Main Hobbies’ brand ProTek R/C have announced four new LiPo battery packs that boast an incredible 70C discharge rating. These ROAR Approved packs are available as 2S 6400mAh, 2S Shorty 4100mAh, 4S 6400mAh and 1S 5800mAh versions all with hard cases. ProTek RC offers a 50% Damage Replacement program for one year after original purchase date on all batteries that have been damaged due to impact, over-discharging, or improper charging that have not been modified or disassembled. The damaged battery will be replaced by a comparable battery at 50% off of its retail cost.

ProTek R/C ‘TruTorque’ tools are offered in a variety of metric and standard sizes to suit even the most demanding hobbyist. The ProTek R/C 2S ‘Supreme Power’ LiPo 60C Shorty Pack was designed to provide race-winning power and run-time in a short 96mm case. Its small stature allows for extra mounting versatility to fine-tune the weight distribution of off-road cars and trucks, like the new Team Losi Racing 22 buggy. The ProTek R/C 2S ‘Sport Race’ LiPo 50C Stick Pack provides unmatched performance in a rounded case design that fits even the tightest chassis configurations that require a stick pack-style battery, and offers the convenience of 4mm bullet connectors. The ROAR approved hard case offers protection against damage, and with a running weight of just 208 grams this new pack is the perfect choice for applications where weight savings will improve performance.
The new Protek R/C Prodigy 610 Duo features two independent channels, each capable of supplying 200W and monitoring the battery’s condition with its own internal balance port and temperature sensor port so you can charge your batteries quickly and safely. A 5V, 1000mA USB port allows you to charge any USB device conveniently at your work space, while the PC Link port gives you the option to monitor and log overall pack voltage, temperature, current and total capacity. A Main Hobbies have announced the new Protek R/C Super Pro 1000 power supply. The Super Pro 1000 is a regulated DC power supply with USB charging port and a total of five power outputs. This is the same as their powerful Super Pro 40 power supply but with twice the power and increased flexibility. Not only does it feature the same four individually switched 16 amp outputs and single 40 amp output, but also an LED display on the top, independent variable voltage and current output controls on the front and 1000 watts of power. This will allow you to easily operate your 12V to 30V equipment from one power supply with power to spare. Using switch mode technology, it provides a higher level of efficiency and reduces the overall weight and size of the power supply compared to other systems with similar features.
