PSM TA07 SSBB carbon fibre shock towers

PSM have introduced their new 4mm carbon fibre shock towers for the Tamiya TA07R and Pro models. Designed to replace the standard plastic shock towers with more durable, precise and cooler looking items, the shock stays also feature a refined suspension geometry for better overall performance. The towers are of a low-height design for the use with SSBB shocks and they are available separately for the front and the rear of the car.

PSM TA07 carbon fibre chassis conversion kit

PSM from Germany have introduced their new carbon fibre chassis conversion kit for the Tamiya TA07 touring car. The carbon fibre chassis kit was designed to improve the TA07’s overall performance, adding a more precise handling and stiffer torsional flex for faster cornering. It is a complete new performance experience compared to the kit included plastic chassis design. Designed to work great on low to medium grip tracks, this conversion can also be used indoors and be upgraded with PSM’s forthcoming aluminium chassis. The kit includes the 2.25mm main chassis, upper deck, front and rear support braces, adjustable battery braces as well as all necessary hardware and it is recommended for use with the TA07 R version, but will work with the Pro version as well.

PSM B6.1 series front shock towers

PSM from Germany have introduced their new carbon fibre shock towers for the Team Associated B6.1 series of 2WD buggies. Available in two variants for the B6.1 and B6.1D, both shock stays offer a refined suspension geometry and +1mm forward shock alignment for improved performance on the specific surfaces. The weight-optimised shock towers sport a reinforced design for optimised durability and low weight and they are cut from high-quality 5mm carbon fibre.

PSM T4’18 front & rear shock towers

PSM have introduced their new front and rear carbon fibre shock towers for the Xray T4’18 touring car. Both are cut from 4mm carbon fibre with the stronger material making for a more rigid construction while the +1mm shock alignment improves the linear shock performance under all track conditions. The towers are cut from high-quality carbon fibre and they are available separately from now on.

PSM B6.1 O-ring retained battery positioning system

Coming from PSM and made for the Team Associated B6.1 2WD buggy is an O-ring retained battery positioning system. The assembly, that is also usable on the B6, consists of two carbon fibre brackets that securely grab the shorty pack while two O-rings ensure the battery stays in place even when the going gets tough while also allowing for super-fast battery swaps. The battery can be mounted in a forward or rearward position and due to having very little influence on chassis twist, the system is recommended for 17.5T stock classes as the higher speeds of modified motors can make the buggy a bit twitchy due to increased chassis flex.

PSM Evo7 carbon fibre shock towers

Coming from PSM and made for the Tamiya Evo7 touring car are front and rear carbon fibre shock towers. Both are cut from 4mm carbon composite material and designed to reinforce the vehicle’s shock area, providing minimum flex characteristics and straight shock alignment for a more linear performance under all conditions. The shock towers are a direct fit and they are available separately for the front and the rear of the car.

PSM X1’18 battery positioning system

PSM have introduced their new battery positioning system for the Xray X1’18 formula car. This battery positioning system was designed to hold the battery securely in place while maintaining the option to move it forward and backwards in order to fine-tune the weight bias. In addition PSM have added the possibility to hold it down with the included O-ring to make battery changes easy while because of its special design, the battery mount will not affect the chassis flex at all. Manufactured from PSM’s proven quality carbon fibre and including all necessary hardware, the assembly weighs in at only 9 grams in total.

PSM MP9 TKI4 aluminium shock standoff set

PSM have introduced an aluminium shock standoff set for the Kyosho MP9 TKI4 buggy. The alloy shock standoffs are designed for lightweight shock fastening and will work with Kyosho MP9 TKI4. The special design features the flat-width moved to the centre of the standoff to provide easier access for tightening. The standoffs are treated with a dark gold anti-wear coating and they come in sets of four.
