Racers Edge Alu Rear Hubs for Associated chassis'

Racers Edge have developed these new aluminium rear hubs to fit the Associated B4, B44, T4, and SC10. Based on the stock B44 4wd buggy hubs, they have a larger outside bearing for increased performance and bearing longevity, while a set screw holds the hingepin in place with access from the bottom. With four possible vertical ballstud locations for increased setup adjustments, these blocks are designed to add 1/2 degree rear toe in. Available in hard silver color, they have been CNC machined for accuracy, and laser engraved with degrees and L or R for left or right sides.

New from Racers Edge are 2 new hauler bags for conveniently transporting your race equipment to the track. The 1/8th scale car hauler bag (above) will work great for 1/8th scale buggies and smaller scale R/C cars. It features 2 small parts boxes, 1 medium box, 1 large car box, smooth rolling wheels, advanced telescoping aluminum handle, 2 large pockets for setup boards and more and now features black corrugated plastic boxes. The top is large enough for two Plano boxes to hold your tools or parts, and now has a section of elastic rings for tool organization. The Monster Truck hobby roller features smooth rolling wheels, advanced telescopic aluminum handle, reinforced carrying handles and internal shelf. New from Racers Edge, is their 35C Race Edition 4000mAh LiPo battery, which features industry standard bullet ports, battery case ‘bumps’ and comes with a Deans connector wire set complete with align style balance plug. It features 35C for high output racing conditions and cycling these packs on a CE Turbo 35 shows the average internal resistance between 6.8A – 7.4A, with an average voltage between 7.31 – 7.4 volts at 35 amp discharge cycles, while run time at 35 amp discharge is between 410-430 seconds.

Racers Edge SC2000 & Sure Charge 1000

Racers Edge have released a number of new items, including 2 chargers. The first charger, the SC2000, comes supplied in a handy metal carrying case and is supplied with the Squid, the ultimate charging cable that has a connection for almost everything you need and which you can also buy separately. The charger itself is an AC/DC LiPo balance charger, which can balance charge up to 6S LiPo cells, as well as NiCd and NiMH up to 15 cells. The charging rate can be set from 0.1 – 5.0 Amps and for discharging the range is 0.1 – 1.0 Amps. Also new is the much simpler Sure Charge 1000, and AC/DC peak charger designed for 4-8 cell NiCd and NiMH with AC able to do 4-8 cells at 1 or 2 Amps and with DC, 4-7 cells at 1 – 4 Amps. Racers Edge have also released a line of pro aluminum servo horns, available in blue and black and 2 different types. They feature 2 locking screww on the collar to further secure it to the servo.

Some smart thinking from the Racers Edge with the release of the Li-Poly sack, a flame resistant charging bag. Simply place your LiPo pack in the bag when charging, this bag can also be used with NiMH cells as well, and if your pack bursts into flames it will help protect your car, house or even the pits at your local track.
