Reedy 40C+ Competition LiPo batteries

After extensive development and track testing, Reedy is proud to announce the release of all-new competition LiPo batteries for the summer racing season. Available in standard and saddle pack configurations, these 40C+ rated batteries deliver generous power and capacity for both on and off road applications. Capacity and power are not the only great features of this battery. Compact dimensions allow for installation in most 1:10 scale vehicles with no modifications. A durable hard case, featuring locking tabs as well as adhesive so that the case halves do not separate, helps protect the battery from damage. The standard version is equipped with convenient 4mm socket-style connections. A free charging harness that incorporates a balance connector for balance charging is included while the saddle packs version features low resistance 12-gauge wires with an integrated balancing harness. Both batteries are ROAR approved and EFRA listed and the #685 is also legal for IFMAR competition.

Associated XP/Reedy 1/10 brushless system

Team Associated have released their new XP SC450-BL Brushless ESC and Reedy 540R Brushless motor. The XP SC450-BL Brushless ESC is light and compact for easy installation in most 1:10 vehicles. Simple calibration and a wide variety of tuning options make this ESC perfect for both casual enthusiasts and racers. Due to its sensorless design, the Reedy 540R Brushless motor operates powerfully and efficiently without complicated sensor harnesses and is perfectly suited for use with ESCs, such as the XP SC450-BL, that are designed to operate sensorless brushless motors.

Reedy have released this turbo glow plug caddy. Stop rummaging around your toolbox for glow plugs, this lightweight and compact caddy allows for convenient and safe storage of up to eight turbo glow plugs. Made from black anodised aluminium, it features the Reedy logo engraved on the side.

Reedy Wolfpacks now Deans Ultra Plug equipped

To satisfy the demands of enthusiasts worldwide, Reedy Wolfpacks are now available equipped with Deans Ultra Plug Connectors in 6-cell 7.2V and 7-cell flat 8.4V versions. Wolfpacks are assembled using Reedy’s high-tech NiMH sub-C SC-R cells which features high capacity for extended run times while delivering maximum output thanks to its current carrying capabilities and ultra-low internal resistance. To improve power output, prevent meltdowns, and increase reliability, an industry-standard Deans Ultra Plug connector has been fitted and to further minimize power-robbing resistance and heat, welded connections between each cell and thick 14AWG silicone power wires ensure maximum performance and reliability. An adapter is also available that allows you to charge these new packs with chargers that use a Tamiya-style output.

Reedy Competition exhaust system

Reedy’s new 2035 and 2039 mufflers feature a 3-chamber design for a linear power band and exceptional all-around performance. A reinforced stinger and hard-anodized finish increase durability, while a single-piece pressure nipple is positioned for maximum body clearance and to lessen the chance of the pressure line being knocked off in crash. The 2035 muffler is incredibly powerful on the bottom end with good straight-line speed. On the other hand, the 2039 muffler is softer on the low end than the 2035, but is capable of more RPM and higher top speeds. A hard-anodized header designed specifically for use with these mufflers is also available.

Reedy 447-S AC/DC Peak Prediction Charger

New from Reedy is the 447-S, a simple to use charger that offers the ability to charge the most popular NiMh/NiCd battery types and configurations. The 447-S utilizes state-of-the-art peak prediction circuitry to protect batteries from damage due to overcharging. Standard peak detection circuitry continues charging even after the battery is fully charged, which can damage the battery. Instead, the 447-S continuously monitors the battery’s charge curve, calculates when the peak will occur, and stops charging at that point. Advanced Trickle Charge mode automatically begins when the battery is completely charged. This pulse current charge function keeps the battery charged until it is ready for use and conditions the cells to ensure maximum performance and longevity.
