Reedy 35C EFRA/BRCA LiPo Battery

Due to EFRA’s regulations for LiPo batteries being different regarding dimensions from that of ROAR, Reedy is pleased to announce the release of 35C standard and saddle pack batteries specifically for the European market and for clubs that use EFRA regulations as well as those set forth by the BRCA. Even though the battery dimensions are smaller and capacity is reduced slightly, the 35C rating remains the same, resulting in world-class power for all racing classes.

Due to increasing demand for economically priced high-capacity batteries, Reedy have released this 4200mAh 7.2V WolfPack. Because a battery pack is only as good as its individual cells, these packs are assembled using Reedy’s all-new high-tech SC-R cells. This exclusive cell features high capacity for extended run times while delivering maximum output thanks to its current-carrying capabilities and ultra-low internal resistance. Low resistance welded connections between each cell and thick 14AWG silicone power wires ensure maximum performance and reliability. Additionally, each pack comes equipped with an industry-standard Tamiya style connector.

UK win for new Reedy VR.21 Pro

The new Reedy VR.21 Pro engine has taken the win in the hands of Craig Drescher at the latest round of the Slough Winter series. The as yet unreleased motor from the US manufacturer, powered Craig’s RC8 to 2nd on the grid following qualifying and after taking an early lead in the race he managed the gap to 2nd and was able to take the win by 6 seconds. Expect more information on this new engine soon.

Due to a steady rise in popularity of 1/12th scale as well as World GT class racing, Reedy has recognised the importance of offering 4-cell versions of their VMX Concept IB4600 Matched battery pack. Reedy’s exclusive VMX Concept makes great IB4600 Standard and EU Spec NiMH cells even better. The process begins by applying an intense energy pulse to new cells using high-tech equipment designed in house by our engineering staff. The end results of this process are reduced internal resistance, increased voltage output, and more power. These enhanced cells are cycled, then power-matched using a 35-amp discharge, a process which eliminates weak cells and those that do not fall within the exclusive percentage that are good enough to be hand selected as Reedy VMX R-46 grade.

Featuring a fresh new logo screen printed on classic black or white 100% cotton T-shirt ‘exemplifies the brand’s no nonsense, pure performance philosophy’. The front features a large version of the logo across the chest, while the back has a smaller more subtle logo just below the neck.

The high capacity provides more than enough run time for today’s on and off road competitions. The high capacity provides more than enough run time for today’s on‐ and off-road competitions but the best news is the battery’s 35C rating. The C rating determines the battery’s ability to deliver power efficiently and Reedy’s 35C rating delivers world‐class power for all racing classes. Capacity and power are not the only great features of this battery, socket‐style connections provide low resistance for more power. Ugly and bulky high‐resistance connectors are a thing of the past. A durable case helps protect the battery from damage and incorporates locking tabs as well as adhesive so that the case halves remain intact. Each battery comes with a charging harness that incorporates a balance connector for balance charging. Coming soon.
