Reedy Blackbox 510R 1S competition ESC

Reedy have announced the release of their new Blackbox 510R 1S competition brushless speed controller. Extensive race testing by Reedy’s engineering and racing team has resulted in a high performance, high quality, and reliable ESC suitable for all levels of 1/12th scale competition. Thanks to excellent throttle and brake feel, a wide range of precision adjustability, and durable high-quality hardware, the Blackbox 510R 1S ESC suitable for blinky and modified 1/12th racing classes. The controller is available separately or including the PROgrammer2 program box.

Associated Electrics setup mats

Associated Electrics have introduced four new 2019 setup mats that come in four branded styles: Team Associated, Reedy Power, Factory Team, and Element. The mats are roughly 400x500mm in size and provide a protective surface for countertops and RC pit tables alike. Preventing stains from nitro fuel, shock oil, dirt and grime, these mats are a great way to protect the countertops in a shop or at home while creating a factory look. They also work great as RC pit table setup boards, providing a nice flat surface for pre-race checks of ride height and camber and toe. In addition they are lightweight for easy travel to and from the racetrack.

Reedy 4mm/5mm Pro charge lead

Associated Electrics have announced the release of the new Reedy Pro charge lead with stepped 4mm and 5mm battery connectors. It came be used with hardcase batteries that utilise both 4mm and 5mm bullet-type connectors and a standard 2mm bullet connector is provided for the balance connection. On the other end, 4mm bullet connectors plug directly into the charger while an XH 2S balance connector plugs into the charger’s balance port or to a compatible balance board. The 580mm long lead has an all-black appearance for Pro looks.

Reedy SC400X brushed crawler ESC

Reedy’s all-new SC400X brushes speed controller, standard equipment in the Element Enduro RTR, is now available on its own. The speedo is 2S to 3S LiPo compatible and equipped with advanced features intended specifically for crawlers and trail trucks. Fully proportional forward and reverse gives precision control on rocky terrain while an option of 0%, 50%, or 100% drag brake setting helps maintain control on steep ascents and descents. Convenient dual auxiliary power leads can be used to power LED lighting or other scale accessories. The durable water-resistant case protects the ESC from the elements and an integrated heatsink keeps temperatures in check when using high-power motors during extended sessions. Flexible silicone wires, a low-resistance battery T-plug connector, and bullet motor connectors round off the list of features.

Reedy S-Plus 12.5mm HT rotor

Reedy have announced a hi-torque rotor option for the popular Sonic S-Plus Spec motor range. Because the rotor is produced using high-strength material, low-end torque and brake strength are improved with a reduction in fade during a race. The Hi-Torque rotor comes balanced for smooth operation and is easily identified by the part number laser etched on the shaft and its distinctive blue ring.

Reedy Blackbox 1000Z+ Pro sensored brushless ESC

Team Associated have introduced the new Reedy 1000Z+ Pro censored brushless competition speed controller. The simple to use, yet powerful ESC offers versatile features that make it suitable for both Modified and Spec class racers. Excellent throttle and brake feel, a wide range of adjustability, and robust hardware make the Blackbox 1000Z+ PRO an excellent choice for a variety of racing applications. Improving upon the 1000Z+ it replaces, the 1000Z+ Pro features a CNC-machined top case with an integrated heat sink, fan port, and bolt pattern suitable for an optional 30mm fan. Additional Drag Brake, Drive Frequency, and Max Brake Strength settings option have been added to allow for even greater fine tuning. A more reliable Power button, shared with the 510R ESC, doubles as a selection button for settings changes. However, by popular demand, the option to make settings changes using the optional Black PROgrammer2, has been added.

Reedy Radon 2 5-slot brushed crawler motor

Team Associated have introduced crawler specific variants of their Rado 2 brushed motors. The Radon 2 Crawler motor’s 5-slot design delivers a smooth powerband for precision control while traversing steep, uneven, or rocky terrain. Dual ball-bearings improve performance and reliability while adjustable timing allows for adjustments to compensate for different drivetrain configurations that require reverse motor rotation. These features together result in a powerful, reliable, economical, and versatile choice for those who prefer brushed motor power. The Radon 2 Crawler motor is available in 12T, 16T, and 20T versions to suit a variety of applications and speed requirements.
