Robitronic Power Unit .28 Big Block motor

Robitronic’s new .28 size power unit is a 4,6ccm big block engine for 1/8th scale buggies, truggies and monster trucks. Its oversized cylinder head provides plenty of cooling for even the hottest races. The dual-support conrod, the robust ABC construction and the 3-needle composite carburetor are only some of this engines top features. For easy factory-settings, the needles are specially designed to mount flush with the carburetor.

Robitronic have released the TL-3C, a 2,4GHz 3-Channel LCD radio system. It features a modern casing design with ergonomically positioned controls, high noise immunity 2,4GHz technology, easily adjustable menus and easy to read LCD screen. It has 16 model memory, digital trim, programmable fail safe and pretty much all the adjustments you need such as end point, throttle & steering speed and it even has brake mixing for large scale cars. New from Robitronic is this waist mounted pit man bag. Ensuring you always have all your important tools within arms reach, it stows important tools such as screw drivers, glow plug driver etc. as well small parts like body pins or glow plugs securely and ready for use. Robitronic Voltage Booster for 1S LiPo

Robitronic have released this Voltage Booster for use with 1S LiPo packs. Many receivers and servos need 5-6 volts for correct operation. In some classes such as 1/12th scale that use only one lithium cell, the voltage is not high enough and so can lead to failures or damage to equipment. That is were the voltage booster comes in useful, providing a stable 5.9 volts to the on-board electronics and removing the need to an extra RX pack.

Robitronic ROC SCT Endurance & Worlds 2010 races

Robitronic were in contact to tell us about their pair of ROC events that they are running from the 10th to the 12th of September this year at the Rhein-Main Circuit in Bischofsheim. The event starts on Friday the 10th with an 8 hour short course race which is open to 12 teams with a minimum of 3 (max 6) drivers per team. Each team will receive in their entry a Robitronic Smasher SCT 1/10th scale truck with brushless system to run the event. On the Saturday the race for the big boys, the ROC Worlds, takes place with practice for the 3 classes, 1/8th buggy, 1/8th truggy and 1/8th BL buggy followed by rounds 1-4 of qualifying. Sunday is finals day with a big giveaway of Robitronic goodies worth €5000. Entry is now open for both events and closes on the 5th of September or sooner if the entry fills.

Robitronic quick wall chargers

Robitronic have released a number of new simple wall chargers. Starting with the twin charger, it features 2 outputs with a multiplug system. Output 1 can handle 7-8 cell NiCd/NiMh at 120mAh, while output 2 can do 4-7 cell NiCd/NiMh at 900mAh with Delta peak cut off. The multi plug system includes connectors for Tamiya-style plugs, transmitter plugs, (polarity switchable) BEC and receiver plugs and microplug. The quick charger features a reliable delta peak cutoff and is especially suitable for the rc beginner handling 4-8 cells NiCd/NiMH at 1000mAh charge current. Reverse polarity protected with Tamiya-style plug and it works with 110-240 volts mains. Finally there is this starter kit for electric cars, which is a convenient set including the quick wall charger, 3000mAh stick battery and 8xAA TX batteries.
