Just in time for the upcoming IFMAR 1:12 World Championship at Beachline Raceway in Cocoa, Florida, next week, Roche has released its new 2024 Pit Mat. Made of high-quality fabric with non-slip rubber layer the pit mat measures 100x60x0.3cm with a colour printing of the World Champion manufacturer’s logo.
New from 1:12 brand Roche is this optional aluminium servo horn for the Xray servo saver for use in their recently released P12V and other brands of 1:12 chassis with a front mounting servo. It provides an extra 2mm space for steering linkage position to make more ackermann adjustment.
With the 1:12 World Championship in Florida just two months away, title winning manufacturer Roche has released its latest kit, the Rapide P12V. The car is the work of team driver and designer Vesa Yli through V-Dezign with Masahiro Hori and Japanese National Champion Kazuki Yamashita conducting testing of the new kit. The P12V features a super narrow and “ULCG (Ultra Low CG)“ inline chassis for better balance, easier to drive and faster corner speed. It gets a rigid 2mm 7075 aluminium lipo tray & aluminium chassis structure with the battery as low as possible. Fully adjustable & rigid “ULCG” front-end offers easy access adjustment for camber, ride height and wheelbase. 4 degree polished kingpin mean super easy camber adjustment without taking the steering block out.
Having announced their latest 235mm Competition Pro10 kit in recent days, World Championship winning 1:12 manufacturer Roche has released more details & images of the Rapide P10W3. The kit has 12 new features over it predecessor including a new design 2.5mm high grade hard graphite materials for main chassis and wider lower pod plate. It also gets a newly designed dual upper deck and easy change battery holder. Other key changes include new 7075 aluminium front upper & lower bulkhead and newly designed 7075 aluminium lower axle position motor mount and rear left bulkhead.
Following the signing of 1:12 Japanese National Champion Kazuki Yamashita to it’s factory team in May, Roche has announced the addition of another Japanese National Champion Masahiro Hori. Making the announcement the World Championship winning 1:12 manufacturer said, ‘We would like to announce that the former 1/12th Japanese National Champion, 2022 A main finalist Masahiro Hori as our factory team driver. Hori san will bring extensive experience and knowledge on 1/12th pan car to utilized in team activities of racing and development. We are proud and glad to welcome Japanese legend Masahiro Hori in our team. Thanks for Japanese distributor Kimihiko Yano to make it happened.’
Following last week’s signing of Vesa Yli to it’s race team, World Championship winning 1:12 manufacturer Roche has announced the addition of 1:12 Japanese National Champion Kazuki Yamashita. Representing Yokomo in 1:10 Touring car, he will race with Roche P12 in coming years, also work on testing the new P12 chassis ahead of the 2023 1:12 World Championships which takes place in November in Florida. Commenting on the news, Yamashita said, ‘I am looking forward to the new challenges at Roche. And I would like to thank Max for giving me this opportunity, and I would like to work together to develop a high performance 1:12 chassis. I would like to focus on the World Championships in Florida this year and do my best’.
1:12 World Championship winning manufacturer Roche has announced that the top Finland 1:12 and 1:10 onroad driver and professional R/C designer Vesa Yli is joining to their factory team. Ali will race the P12 platform and also manage the design and development of new P12 project with their new factory drivers. Commenting on the announcement Ali said, ‘I am super excited to join the Roche team for the next years not only a factory driver but I will also manage the design in the coming development projects! World Champion 1:12 manufacturer Roche has released a new Steel Rear Solid Axle for their Rapide P12 1:12 chassis and Rapide F1 1:10 chassis. The hollow steel axle improves drivability and offer more durability than the kit’s carbon axle.
