Japanese company Rony have released 2 new items of interest recently, the first of which is the introduction of this 1/24th scale Lola body shell. Suitable for use on Mini Z chassis, this high downforce body has been made from lexan and is clear when you buy it so you can customise it with your own paint scheme. Also new from Rony is this great pit lane tool carrier called the Pit Man, which is made from aluminium and carries your fuel bottle, fuel gun and other tools and can be folded up flat when not in use.
The Xray NT1 seems to be the ‘After market parts’ manufacturer’s car of choice at the moment with almost all parts of the 200mm available in different variations of aluminium and carbon. Japanese company Rony, who have released a number of NT1 parts previously, have now released even more new additions to their range starting off with this aluminium front anti-roll bar lever set. Also new is a lightweight titanium middle shaft, a machined 18T aluminium pulley, aluminium servo saver set with adjustble ackermann, lightweight upper engine mounts and finally an aluminium chassis stiffener.
Japanese company Rony have announced the release of some new carbon parts for both the Kyosho Spada and the Xray NT1. The Spada gets a new chassis plate which Rony have made from carbon fibre, replacing the standard aluminium version and therefore saving weight without sacrficing strength, although not sure how heat dissipation will be handled. New for the NT1 is a rather beefy looking 4mm thick carbon fibre rear shock tower, the latest in a long line of companies to try their hand at this part.
Japanese company Rony have released a number of new parts today, first of which is the new thicker version of the T-530 1/8th scale CanAm body that we showed you previously. Meeting customer demands, this new version is made from 1.0mm thick polycarbonate, as opposed to the original 0.8mm thick that the original version was made from, thus making it more stable and stronger. Also released by Rony is a number of carbon fiber optional parts for the Serpent 720 such as a new radio plate, front and rear shock towers, top rear anti roll bar plate, brake plate and rear camber link plate. All new parts are super light and where applicable they sport more tuning holes and machining too.
Rony Racing from Japan have released information about new products they have announced for the Serpent 960. First up are these aluminum rear roll center pivot pin inserts that come in 3 different roll center positions, and are sold in silver and red. Also from Rony is this 3.5mm thick carbon fiber rear shock tower that is not only stronger than the original part but also offer more tuning capabilities with the addition of an extra hole.
Japanese firm Rony Performance Parts have released their extensively tested 1/8th scale CanAm body shell, called the T-530. Made from 0.8mm thick polycarbonate this new shell has proven itself to be very effective, featuring a long nose which provides plenty of high speed steering while the body is also optimised to be very stable. Rony also make a number of very nice looking optionals for the Serpent 960, including brake disc, servo saver and other small parts which you can check out at the link below.
