RPM Traxxas 1/10th 2WD front bulkheads

RPM have introduced coloured front bulkheads for most Traxxas 1/10th 2WD vehicles. Made from RPM’s renown nylon blend the bulkheads are not only much stronger but also about 15 percent lighter than stock. RPM also include a handy dust plate to cover the bottom of the bulkhead on vehicles such as the Rustler, Stampede and Bandit that leave the bottom exposed. The bulkhead is a direct replacement for the stock 2530 and 2530A parts, it fits the Slash 2WD, Nitro Slash, Bandit, electric Rustler, nitro Rustler, nitro Stampede and electric Stampede 2WD and it is available in the four colours of blue, green, red and black.

RPM X-Maxx upper & lower A-arms

RPM have introduced a set of upper and lower A-arms for the Traxxas X-Maxx monster truck. The redesigned items do away with breaking issues associated with the original parts. Starting with the upper A-arm, RPM used their proven A-arm designs from past builds to create an upper support structure sure to handle even massive abuse while the lower A-arm has better ground clearance than the stock arms and it also features a cross section based off of the company’s proven 1/5th scale HPI Baja A-arms. A double support beam on the lower arms spread impact energy over a larger area, meaning hard hits won’t lead to breakages. Being of an universal fit the arms, moulded from RPM’s own nylon blend, fit on any corner of the truck and four sets are needed to equip one full vehicle.

RPM Team Durango & Arrma 1/8th wing mount

RPM have introduced wing mounts for Team Durango’s and Arrma’s latest 1/8th off-road vehicles such as the DEX8, DEX8T, DNX8, the Kraton, Typhon and Talion. The parts solve the breaking issues associated with the original mounts where primarily the front cross brace holes are cracking. RPM’s solution was to eliminate this hole in favour of a flat plane of solid nylon and on top of that the entire mount builds a curve to help add some impact flexibility during a crash. When running normally, the massive amount of material keeps the wing locked in place, providing stable down force on the rear of the vehicle. The wing mounts contain the support bars only and will require the use of the stock Team Durango or Arrma wing, two stock cross braces and stock mounting hardware.

RPM SCX10 front steering knuckles

RPM’s new steering knuckles for the Axial SCX10 are designed for the hardcore trailblazer that needs strength and durability to get them through the rugged backwoods without failing. The parts have been designed for strength by first beefing up the steering arm. Also the unnecessary inner tie rod hole was ditched and the amount of material around the remaining tie rod hole was increased. RPM then increased the size of the steering arm supporting ribs and increased the amount of material around the king pin bolt holes for added muscle and stability. The design also sees added clearance on the steering arm for the C-Hub retaining screw, allowing more steering throw without having to swap out to pricey C-Hubs or high-clearance steering knuckles. On top of that the slop in the king pin bolt holes was reduced by 0.13mm, improving steering accuracy and consistency.

RPM Yeti XL front shock tower

RPM have a new front shock tower for the Axial Yeti XL available. The part adds some much needed support to the camber link ears and upper shock mounts with smooth-flowing curves, adding an aesthetic appeal as well as increasing strength tremendously. The shock tower is moulded from RPM’s tough blend of engineering grade nylons for additional strength and it is a direct replacement for the stock part.

New from RPM and made for the Axial Yeti XL are front lower A-arms. Made from RPM’s renown nylon blend the arms offer improved durability thanks to massive support beams off to either side that provide the support while 30 degree leading while trailing edges help improve transitions across ultra rugged terrain. On top of that accurately sized hinge pin holes reduce slop to a minimum for improved suspension performance.

RPM shock duplicator tool

RPM’s new shock duplicator tool helps to determine if your car’s shock absorbers are identical. Its simple, accurate and inexpensive design makes rebound and shock length comparison a breeze. The tool is usable with 1/8th to 1/16th scale shocks of up to 158mm in length and all gauge indicator and scale readings are moulded directly into the tool for lifelong accuracy.

RPM E-Rustler & Stampede 2WD wide front A-arms

Made for the Traxxas E-Rustler and Stampede 2WD trucks are new wide front A-arms from RPM. The arms extend the front width by 31.8mm and therefore by exactly the difference in offset between the front and rear wheels. All that is needed for the conversion, that will make for stability-adding performance, is a second set of “front” wheels for the rear of the truck to align the front and rear tyres. Depending on the converted truck a new set of front turnbuckles and toe links is needed due to the increased track width. The A-arm are made from RPM’s durable Nylon blend and they are available in a range of colours including black, blue and green.
