SWorkz have released a first teaser for their forthcoming new S35-4 1/8th scale nitro off-road buggy. No official details about the specification of SWorkz’s latest incarnation of their popular S35 platform are available yet but we keep you posted on the progress.

Coming from SWorkz are new ride height and shock length gauges for 1/8th and 1/10t scale off-road vehicles. The ride height gauges are of a common, twistable design with the 1/8th scale gauge offering a 20mm to 30mm ride height range while the smaller 1/10th scale gauge features a 14mm to 20mm range. Using the gauge is pretty straight forward as the desired ride height can be set by twisting the upper part of the gauge with the setting clicking into place, making for reliable and repeatable measurements and settings. The gauges come machined from aluminium, they feature a black and red 2-tone design and they feature white laser-engraved markings.
Following a first teaser image of SWorkz’s forthcoming new S12-2 2WD buggy first images of the real deal have surfaced on social media. SWorkz factory driver, Elliott Boots has revealed his buggy with the kit in question obviously being a possible carpet variant with a laydown gearbox configuration. Full details of the vehicle as well as more images should become available soon.
T-Works have introduced new Precision ball bearing sets for a range of 1/8th off-road kits. Utilising rubber and metal-shielded high-quality ball races the sets will reduce the natural drivetrain drag due to the metal inner shielding while the outer orange rubber seal offers exceptional protection against dust, dirt and moisture. The sets are available for the Team Associated RC8B3.1, Mugen MBX8/MBX8T and MBX8 Eco, the Kyosho MP10/MP10T/MP9 TKI4/TKI3 as well as the MP9E. The range is rounded out by a set dedicated to the SWorkz S35-3.

European SWorkz distributor MW RC Cars has introduced new carbon fibre optionals for the SWorkz S35-3 and S14-3 buggies. Available are a carbon fibre front shock tower for the 1/8th scale S35-3 as well as a carbon fibre battery brace for the 1/10th scale S14-3 buggy. Both are made by RC Carbon Cavalieri and they are direct replacements for the standard parts, offering a cool new look and exceptional stability.
Coming from SWorkz is their new black colour pit mat. Due to its dark colour the pit mat is a lot less sensitive to becoming unsightly over time while being more neutral in combinations with other pit accessory colours. The rollable pit mat measures 90x60cm and it is available from now on.

RC-Project have introduced the V2 steering knuckle Ackermann plates for the use with their SWorkz S35-3 V1 Valente Edition steering Ackermann kit. The steering knuckle plates for the recently introduced V2 set have undergone quite a revision with the addition of two steering link mounting positions that allow to access standard and aggressive steering characteristics by simply relocating the outer steering link ballstud positions. Using the now separately available V2 steering knuckle plates will allow owners of the older spec V1 Valente Edition Ackermann kit to upgrade their S35-3 vehicle to the latest specification. The steering knuckle plates come machined from high-quality aluminium, they feature a red surface coating for wear and looks and sport laser-etched S and A markings to high-light the standard and aggressive steering settings.

Available now from Answer-RC are carbon fibre side guards for the majority of the current 1/8th buggies. Strong, good looking and about 50 percent lighter than the kit items typically, the hand-laid, CNC-machined and Kevlar-reinforced side guards are available for the Agama A319, HB Racing D817 and D819, Kyosho MP10, Mugen MBX8, SWorkz S35-3 and Team Associated RC8B3.1. The side guard sets include all the bits and pieces needed for installation.
