Speed Power 1/10th LM-P Le Mans bodyshell

Speed Power have a new 200mm Le Mans endurance bodyshell available. The LM-P is modelled after Peugeot’s former Le Mans contender and adds to the already existing LM-A Audi style body. A direct fit on the Speed Passion LM-1 kit the body also fits other 200mm pan cars. The multi-piece body comes clear, including window masks and decal sheet.

Speed Power E801B 1/8 electric buggy

Speed Power introduce the E801B 1/8th scale electric off-road ARTR buggy kit. The vehicle builds on a tough aluminium chassis with 3-differential shaft drivetrain, it features aluminium suspension mounts with moulded inserts for easy setup adjustments and it comes with aluminium shock towers and spring steel CVD driveshafts. Included are also hardened steel main, crown and spur gears, big bore shock absorbers with rubber boots, a carbon fibre differential and steering support plate as well as a clear polycarbonate bodyshell. The buggy comes factory assembled and without the needed RC components, speedo, motor and batteries.

Speed Power competition LiPo packs

Speed Power have released 3 new competition hard case LiPo packs. First up is a 6800mAh 70C 7.4v stick pack, then there is the new 4400mAh 50C 7.4v shorty pack and finally there is a 6500mAh 70C 3.7V pack. All packs feature standard 4mm bullet connectors and in the case of the two 2S packs a 2mm bullet type balancer port.

Speed Power have introduced two new LiPo packs, the first is this 6500mAh 7.4v battery with a 65C rating, while the 2nd is a similar 6200mAh pack with a 65C rating. This stick pack configuration features the now obligatory hard casing for impact protection, with both batteries featuring bullet connectors.

Speed Passion have been in touch to tell us that they have signed young Australian driver Oscar Piastri to use their electronics as well as use Speed Power batteries. After securing the Australian Championship in the 10.5T touring car class at 9 years of age, the Xray driver is now setting his sights on the Modified class and looking forward to lots of fun and future success powered by Speed Passion. Oscar says “I am very excited to join the Speed Passion team and am looking forward to the challenge of racing against the top drivers in Modified”.

Speed Power have announced that top US off road racer Ryan Lutz has joined their team and will use their line of LiPos to power his Durango buggy. Ryan had the following to say about the deal:

More new chargers from Speed Power, the first is the Esprit A9 Capacitive Touch Button System charger is a 11 to 18V DC charger what allows for a maximum charging power of 200W and a maximum discharging power of 25W. Able to charge 1 to 18 NiXX, 1 to 6 LiXX and 2V to 24V Pb batteries the charger also sports a discharge function with up to 5A and an integrated balancer. The Esprit A10 Professional Intelligent Balance charger is an even more powerful device as it charges up to 27 NiXX and up to 8 LiXX cells with a charging rate as high as 7A. Both chargers feature intelligent and easy to navigate menus and two line LCD displays.

Speed Power A8 Pro & A6 chargers

Following on from the release of their A3 and B1 chargers, Speed Power have released the latest additions to the Esprit line, the A6 and A8 Pro. The A8 Pro balance charger and discharger is another DC powered unit wit a maximum charge power of 80W, 10W for discharge. The current ranges are from 0.1 to 6.0A for charging and 0.1 to 2.0A for discharging and it can handle up to 15 NiMh cells and 6 lithium cells. The A6, also a DC charger and discharger, has a max charge power of 50W and a discharge power of 5W, while the charge current is from 0.1 o 5.0A and 0.1 to 1.0A for discharge. Both chargers feature a 2 line LCD display and an easy to navigate functions menu.
