Coming soon from ProStar R/C are blue carbon kevlar shock towers for the Team Associated B6 and B6D buggy. The 4mm thickness shock stays are made using blue carbon fibre and tough kevlar strands to up durability and looks. The towers are available as set and they come as gull wing or flat-type front and short or tall rear option, allowing to mix and match a set purpose-selected for your vehicle.
Schelle Racing Innovations have introduced a set of 0.5mm carbon fibre bulkhead shims for the Team Associated B6 buggy. They allow to shimming the front bulkhead, and thus the inner pivot, lower to the ground to give extra steering in tight turns. US midwest and Australia outdoor racers swear by this setup on a B6D and the set includes two US-made 0.5mm shims that can be stacked up to get up to 1.0mm lower front pins.

Exotek have introduced three new Flite-series topshafts the most popular 2WD buggies as well as a Flite ultra light direct spur mount. Starting with the topshafts, the parts have been drilled and the teeth narrowed for increased acceleration and a cooler running motor. Less than half the weight of the stock topshaft and slipper assembly and lighter still than Exotek’s standard spur mount set, when combined with the special light weight spur mount, the assembly weighs in at 9.5g complete with hardware and 72 spur. The topshaft is available for the Team Associated B6, Kyosho RB6.6 and the TLR 22 3.0.
JConcepts have introduced new aluminium option parts for Team Associated’s 3rd generation 1/8th off-road kits such as the RC8B3 and RC8T3. First up is the suspension arm cap and camber shim set. It makes for an easier and quicker way to change chamber and track width shims on the the RC8B3, RC8B3e and RC8T3 vehicles. The shim set features individual slotted shims which lock to one another while the arm caps have been machined to slide on the upper and lower arms. To adjust, partially unthread the pivot-balls and slide shims in or out depending on required adjustment. Each set, available in blue or black colour, includes two caps, two 0.5, 1 and 2 degree shims which will either complete one side or either top or bottom. To complete the entire front suspension, two sets will be required per vehicle.
Coming from Avid and made for the Team Associated B6-series of buggies are the Triad aluminium steering axles. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised and with machined silver details the unique Triad design axles give the car that stealthy look while also allowing to the narrow track width with the included 1mm shims. The axles weigh in at 2.8g per set and each package includes two aluminium axles and two hard-anodised shims.

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced a set of titanium pivot balls for the Team Associated RC8B3 buggy. Made from high-quality material the titanium pivot balls scrub a good amount of weight compared to the kit’s steel parts while also being much less prone to corrode and wear, making them virtually a fit and forget. The titanium pivot balls are compatible to all 3rd generation RC8 kits including the RC8B, RC8B3e, RC8T3 and RC8T3e.
Coming from ProStar R/C and available for many 1/8th buggies with pivot ball front suspension are the front Wing Arms. The unique front upper arms are designed to match the buggy’s stock geometry but they can utilise a 3-D-printed wing element to improve downforce on large high-speed tracks. The front arms are made using a strong and durable carbon nylon mix and the sets are available for the Mugen MBX7, RC8B3 and SWorkz S35 buggies. Custom colours are available to match the front wings with the body’s paintjob.
