T-Works RC8B3.2 titanium turnbuckle set

Coming from T-Works and made for the Team Associated RC8T/B3.2 car is this 5-piece titanium turnbuckle set. The linkages are made of high-quality 64 Grade titanium and the set includes two hard coated aluminium wrenches in 4mm and 5mm for the two different diameter turnbuckles.

Associated B74.1 drivetrain option parts

Some new option parts are available now from Team Associated for the RC10B74.1 and RC10B74.1D buggy. Replace steel CVA cups with light-weight aluminium or tune the slipper clutch power delivery with the 3-Pad Conversion. Replace the centre CVA cups with these Factory Team 7075 aluminium versions over the kit steel type to shed rotating weight (4.7 grams) for faster acceleration. The 3-Pad slipper conversion is a complete parts set to change a RC10B74.1 slipper from the kit 2-pad slipper to a 3-pad slipper clutch. The kit design is a 11mm I.D. pad with a heavy 500lb/in spring, ideal for high-load carpet, while the 3-pad conversion is a standard 19mm I.D. pad with a softer spring, which delivers a smoother throttle feel with slower engagement for racers wanting a softer clutch feel.

Factory Team B74.1 carbon fibre options

Four new Factory Team option parts are now available for the RC10B74.1 and RC10B74.1D buggy. First up is this 31mm V2 tower which is made to adapt the larger volume 31mm rear shock bodies to your B74.1 for conditions where you need improved jump ‘flat landing’. The V2 tower is designed to work with the same setup / stroke and 27.5mm shock shaft as the kit, with no up-travel limiters required. Next up is the FT carbon fibre ESC tray, shedding 2 grams of weight (6g vs. 8g) compared with the moulded plastic version and lowering the ESC at only 1.5mm thick. Finally there is two new chassis brace support sets, both made from 2mm thick carbon fibre. The ‘Flex’ chassis brace design is narrowed along the centre line to 5mm for additional torsional flex which is an advantage on bumpy dirt tracks or uneven, multi-surface outdoor turf tracks. The other chassis brace supports are a more rigid option than the kit G10 chassis brace support, used for high traction or when racers want to tune out traction.

T-Works MBX8 & RC8 steel centre driveshaft sets

T-Works have released these optional steel centre dogbone driveshaft sets for the Mugen MBX8 and Team Associated RC8 B3.1/3.2. Includes two high-quality steel centre driveshafts as well as heavy duty steel couplers for the diff input gears. T-Works have also previously released a similar version of this set with alloy driveshafts.

ONG RC8B3.2 aluminium bar & shock pins

More new parts from ONG for the Associated RC8B3.2 with the release of these bar pins & shock pins. Made in Italy by RC-Project on the latest generation turning machines, all the pins are made of 7075-T6 aluminium and hard anodised with a thickness of 50µ. The diameters have been modified compared to the originals to have a better contact between pin, arm and ball and have been modified to eliminate the axial play. The shock pins are M3.5 threaded to ensure better safety than the original ones. The weight of the bar pins are just 2.25grams, while the shock pins are 2.9grams.

Wallie Builds blue carbon parts for RC8B3.2

New from Wallie Builds for the RC8B3.2 come these 5mm thick blue carbon front and rear shock towers and matching 2.5mm thick 1-piece wing button. The rear shock tower has two sets of holes for the wing mount which allows for 0mm, +8mm or +16mm wing heights. Another feature is that, if the +8mm wing mount is unavailable, you can use the 0mm wing mount in the upper holes and get the +8mm height.

Exotek Racing DR10 options

Exotek Racing have introduced a lot of new items for the Associated DR10, starting with this lightweight 2mm carbon fibre ESC tray set. It allows for easier mounting of larger esc’s and stock esc’s in a centrally balanced location and comes with alloy posts and hardware. Next up is a heavy duty alloy servo mount that makes for easier servo install and removal thanks to the 1-piece design that will always match the chassis holes. There is also a precision machined premium titanium front axle set for the DR10. At only 4.5 grams per pair, these axles are perfect for reducing rotating mass for quicker acceleration. A rounded and angled hex profile also makes wheel installation extra quick and easy. Finally there is a hard anodised 7075 alloy idler gear for the DR10. This is much stronger than the stock plastic idler gear but not indestructible so it is important to use black or white grease on the gears and reapply frequently to prolong its life along with proper slipper adjustments.
