T-Works RC8B3.2 connector style on/off switch

T-Works have introduced their new connector style on/off switch set for the Team Associated RC8B3.2 buggy. The set includes a machined carbon fibre receiver box cover that incorporates a sturdy XT-style connector that acts as an on/off switch using the included jumper plug. The whole assembly does away with the need for a standard mechanical switch in favour of a more robust solution that is less sensitive to dust, dirt and moisture. The kit is a drop-in solution and it includes pre-wired standard universal-type receiver and battery connectors.

JConcepts B6 series 15.5mm alloy servo horn

Coming from JConcepts and made for Team Associated’s 6th generation buggies and trucks is a 15.5mm aluminium servo arm. One of the critical points of racing comes from the steering servo and proper servo horn. The horn transfers all the torque from the servo to the steering bell cranks and this piece needs to be created with precision and durability. The JConcepts servo horn created for both 23T and 25T count has all the geometry necessary as a direct bolt-on for the B6, T6 and SC6 generation of vehicles. The broad base of the horn tapers to the connection area where the steering takes place. The heavy-duty boss on top protects the ball-end and provides a hefty surface for steering direction. Small ribs have been added on the sides to help strengthen the unit in a twisting fashion and a deep pocket hides the 3mm standard mounting screw. The entire horn has been retouched with chamfer highlight edging and laser etched with JC and the tooth count for high-end looks and authenticity.

Vision Racing DR10 ceramic ball bearing set

Coming from Vision Racing and made for Team Associated’s DR10 drag racing cars is a ceramic ball bearing kit. It includes ABEC-5 spec bearings equipped with Si3N4 ceramic balls for a slight weight reduction but most importantly a more efficient performing drivetrain. The bearings come lubricated with a high-performance synthetic light oil and the kit includes all gearbox and wheel axle ball bearings.

Phat Bodies have introduced their new Atak 14th scale micro buggy body shell for vehicles such as the LC Racing EMB-1, the Team Associated Reflex 14B, or the Losi Mini 8ight. The aggressive and aerodynamic forward cab styling is ideally suited for micro speed demons with large side pods and increased side profile allow extra room inside and increase visibility on track. Suitable for all 14th scale micro buggies with a wheelbase of around 190mm the clear bodyshell comes with overspray film and Phat Bodies stickers.

RudeBits vented & grooved 1/8th off-road brake discs

Coming from RudeBits are their new vented and grooved brake discs for Serpent and Team Associated 1/8th off-road kits. Specially designed and shaped the hardened steel brake discs will make for reliable stopping performance even during long mains and in high ambient temperatures while scrubbing about 25 percent of weight at the same time. In addition to the Serpent and Team-Associated-compatible discs, RudeBits will offer fitments for other brand in the near future.

Pilot RC Products DR10 ceramic hybrid bearing set

Pilot RC Products have announced the release of their race-proven Pilot Orbit Ceramic Hybrid bearing set for the Team Associated DR10. The bearings are precision crafted and produced from highest grade materials governing them the ABEC rating grade 7. Grade 7 rated bearings provide a higher tolerance and a deviation of 5 μm, allowing for better performance at high RPM. The bearings come pre-oiled with 1up Clear bearing oil for ultra free bearings and increased drivetrain efficiency.

Exotek DR10/DB10 alloy steering rack & servo arm

Coming from Exotek are two new aluminium optionals for Team Associated vehicles in the form of an aluminium steering rack for the DR10 and DB10 vehicles as well as a general purpose aluminium servo arm. Starting with the steering rack, the part is of a heavy duty design and it is compatible with all DR10, DB10, and B5-based trucks and buggies. The part is precision-machined from high-quality aluminium and it comes polished and blue anodised for that factory racing look.

Team Associated introduce new B74 parts

Coming from Team Associated are new parts for the B74 buggy in the form of stronger steering block arms and updated differential outdrives. Starting with the steering block arms, these are of a new and stronger design. Keeping the original steering geometry, the 2.5mm carbon fibre parts have a larger cross section and radii that greatly improves durability. The steering stop area has been modified to allow for the popular racer modification of grinding the plastic steering stop for additional throw on tight tracks.
