Avid B74 -2mm rear carbon fibre shock tower

Avid have introduced a rear carbon fibre shock tower in -2mm configuration for the Team Associated B74 buggy. The shock stay is made from 100 percent carbon fibre and designed to limit the shock up travel to keep the dogbone from hitting the outdrives at full compression. It is machined from 4.0mm thick carbon fibre, matches the stock shock angles and has two small drill holes under the centre hole of the wing mount for notification.

RDRP B74 aluminium bellcrank arm

Ruddog Distribution have introduced the new RDRP aluminium bellcrank arm for the Team Associated B74 buggy, a direct replacement for the standard carbon fibre part. Machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised for wear and looks, the bellcrank arm offers improved strength and greater durability as it replaces the somewhat weak original carbon fibre part that can break in heavy crashes or when touching track boards. The arm mimics the original steering geometry and it comes with machined silver edge details for factory looks.

PSM B74 DTC aluminium main chassis plate

PSM have announced the release of their new DTC Delta Traction Characteristics aluminium main chassis plate for the Team Associated B74 buggy. Developed to improve the B74’s performance, especially in medium to low grip track conditions, the DTC chassis features delta shaped pockets to provide soft torsional flex characteristics along with consistent performance. The soft flex allows the buggy to generate more mechanical grip, which is very helpful in low grip conditions and/or when running on tight and technical tracks. A special coating process provides a stealth black look along with super smooth surface finish. An additional PTFE coating makes for optimised surface gliding characteristics. The chassis features a unique LCG weight distribution system, which allows the owner to add up to 24 optional weight inlays, a total of 34g, at predefined locations with out modifying the torsional characteristics of the chassis or adding up to its original thickness. Thanks to this the driver can fine-tune the balance the chassis pretty easily. The additional brass weights are available in gold or silver colour, depending on the driver’s colour taste.

Rebellion-RC TC7.2 MM aluminium main chassis plates

Following first teaser images RC-Carbonstore from Austria have announced the soon release of their new Alu-Crossflex and Alu-Solid aluminium main chassis plates for their Team Associated TC7.2 MM Mid Motor conversion kit. The patent-pending Alu-Crossflex chassis was developed for the use in medium to high-bite traction conditions with its highly machined design allowing optimised flex characteristics that can be greatly influenced with the use of up to twelve optional brass inserts that not only add up to 47.9g of weight in the lowest area of the chassis, but they can also be used to change the overall torsional flex characteristics. The idea was to become able to adjust the weight-balance as well as the flex individually with every insert by using different fixing positions without the need of changing the whole chassis; with a standard chassis being always hard front/rear or soft front/rear, but not hard front/soft rear. When the brass inserts are fixed at a 90 degree angle to the driving direction they almost have no influence to the flex, but if attached using the remaining – cross-positioned – mounting points, the inserts decrease the flex. To make the system work the fixing points for the “hard” setting are 0,3mm lowered to make for a free movement at “flex” setting, and when using the “hard” setting drivers need to insert the included 0,3mm shims to be able to access the desired “hard” flex settings. Both the Crossflex and the standard full face Solid chassis, for high to very high bite conditions, are machined from high-quality aluminium, they come black anodised for wear and looks, feature a laser-engraved Rebellion-RC logo and they are of a conical shape, ensuring increased ground clearance and less chassis scrubbing during hard cornering. The chassis and the optional brass weight inserts are available for pre-order now and will ship from the 30th of September. Beside the TC7.2 MM main plate Rebellion-RC will soon release alloy chassis for their other MM Mid Motor conversion kits.

Revolution Design B74 aluminium rear hub set

Ruddog Distribution have announced the release of the new RDRP B74 aluminium rear hubs for the Team Associated B74 1/10th scale 4WD buggy. The rear hubs are of an updated design that provides improved durability for heavy duty competition usage while offering grub screw retainers for the standard kit suspension geometry inserts, greatly reducing slop over the conventional design. The hubs use the standard kit rear hub link mounts, making them a direct fit and they come machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium. A black surface coating and machined silver colour edge details make the parts standing out.

RDRP B74 aluminium shock towers

New from RDRP are these aluminium front and rear shock towers designed for the B74 4WD off-road buggy. They match the standard kit geometry but are of a heavy duty design for durability and stability, increasing suspension efficiency and precision also thanks to the high-quality aluminium material they are machined off. As they match the stock dimensions they are a direct replacement with no setup changes needed when swapping parts over. In addition the high amount of machining, including silver chamfered edges, makes for a visually pleasing appearance while keeping the parts’ weight low. Both the front and rear tower come black anodised for looks and surface protection.
