Pro-Line EB410 Elite body shell

Coming from Pro-Line and made for the Tekno EB410 1/10th scale 4WD buggy is the Elite body shell. Designed with the latest in CAD technology, the Elite features an overall low-slung design with sweeping lines throughout giving it an unmistakable look on the track. A laid-back cab-forward design with rails extending up the hood and A-pillar provides enhanced steering feeling while a sloped centre fin balances out the rear of the car with exceptional side-bite. Air scoops on both sides of the cab have been placed strategically to give maximum cooling effect on the electronics and the cab height was designed to allow for a top mounted fan. The body comes in race ready light weight material and includes two Air Force 2 6.5″ rear wings, paint-then-peel overspray film, window masks and Pro-Line decals.

Tekno ET410 1/10th 4WD electric truggy kit

Following a couple of teaser images on social media, Tekno RC have officially unveiled their all-new ET410 1/10th scale 4WD competition electric truggy kit. The vehicle is based off of the popular EB410 1/10th scale 4WD buggy, however new suspension arms, shock towers, rear shocks, body mounts, an ET48.3 inspired truggy body, and driveline components push the ET410 out to 1/10th 2WD/4WD truck specifications. All of the innovations from the EB410 buggy are present on the ET410, such as the weight-forward chassis layout and differential design, the reverse bellcrank steering system and 13mm big bore shocks. During testing it was found that a variety of motors work well to power the ET410, from standard 2-pole offerings (5.5-10.5T) to 4-pole 540-size SCT motors (4000-5000kv). To cope with the power of the latter, a newly designed 32 pitch spur gear and thicker driveshafts are more than up to the task. In addition to standard AE offset 2.2” truck wheels and tyres, SCT wheels and tires of “Slash offset” are a bolt-on option. The kit is available for pre-order now and will ship around mid-August.

Exotek EB410 +5mm wing mounts

Exotek have introduced their new aluminium +5mm wing mount for the Tekno EB410 buggy. Extra durable but machined to weigh in at a lightweight 15.8g, the +5mm wing mounts raise the wing 5mm higher for better tyre clearance and improved downforce. They were designed for the use with carbon fibre shock towers which uses the stock wing spacer and hardware to mount the wing but they can be mounted also on the stock plastic shock tower if four optional 2mm tall spacers are used on the shock tower screws.

Tekno EB410 front & rear swaybar sets

Tekno RC have announced two new swaybar sets for the EB410 1/10th scale 4WD buggy. They make it easier to fine-tune the setup depending on the traction level, from loamy low traction surfaces to high grip carpet. The front set includes wires thicker than those found in TKR6623 and are best used on higher grip surfaces such as carpet or blue grooved clay. They provide a great tuning option to reduce steering sensitivity and prevent traction rolling on high bite surfaces. Included are five 1.5mm to 1.9mm wires. The rear set includes thinner-than-stock swaybars, making them a useful option for low grip surfaces. They will help generate additional rear traction and can also aid in stabilising the rear suspension on very bumpy surfaces. Included are five 1.0mm to 1.4mm wires.
