MIP EB410 shock cartridge spacer kit

MIP have introduced a shock cartridge spacer kit for the Tekno RC EB410 1/10th 4WD buggy. The stock shock cartridge setup uses two X-ring seals that ride against themselves. As they aren’t designed to be stacked together they tend to roll during shock compression and they will act like a pump or vacuum, and pull air into the shock body which will make shock bleeding after every run necessary. This is where MIP’s shock cartridge spacer kit steps in. It includes eight spacers which will eliminate the need to constantly bleed the shocks. The spacers keep the same friction on the shaft to allow it to move freely but keeps the X-ring seals orientated to their proper shape during compression and rebound; thus resulting in a more consistent shock feel throughout the run. Included are four cartridge guides and four cartridge spacers but no X-ring seals.

RDRP EB410 brass suspension mounts & rear weight

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced their new brass C and D suspension mounts for the Tekno RC EB410 1/10th scale 4WD electric buggy as well as a dedicated rear brass weight. Starting with the suspension mounts, they are a direct replacement for the kit’s lightweight aluminium part and add valuable weight especially when running in low-traction conditions or when the track is getting bumpier. Machined from black-coated brass and sporting gold-colour chamfered edges the parts, that can be used separately or in combination, shift the weight bias further to the rear which also helps with rotation into corners especially in low traction conditions while improving overall traction at the same time. Available are the standard geometry C and D suspension hangers and also the C-2mm and D-2mm mounts that bring the suspension geometry – and thus roll centre settings – back to standard when also utilising the RDRP0452-2mm EB410 Carbon Fibre Shock Tower Rear -2mm or any other -2mm rear shock tower.

RDRP EB410 carbon fibre option parts

Revolution Design Racing Products from Germany have introduced a range of carbon fibre option parts for the Tekno RC EB410 buggy. First up are a total of three front and rear shock towers. The direct replacement shock stays are coming as standard geometry front and rear tower as well as -2mm rear variant, all three are designed to replace the standard composite plastic shock stays with sleeker and cooler looking variants. While the standard geometry front and rear towers are machined to kit specification features the rear -2mm variant an updated geometry that bring the droop settings back to standard when running up to 2mm rear gearbox risers. The shock towers are machined from high-quality 4mm glossy finish carbon fibre and they are available separately.

MIP announce EB410 Pro4mance chassis bundle kit

Coming soon from MIP and made for the Tekno RC EB410 1/10th 4WD buggy is their new Pro4mance chassis bundle kit. The next generation 13.5 performance bundle chassis kit rebalances the car to give a stable and smooth drive. The new chassis re-configures the battery to the back of the chassis and lays the servo down. The end result is a more balanced weight between the front of the chassis and back resulting in a smoother drive and allows the car to rotate through corners better, brake faster, and accelerate quicker than standard EB410’s. The kit also features new carbon spine braces, new servo mounts and front and rear centre bones which come standard with MIP 1.5 Pucks. The kit is available for pre-order now and should hit stores soon.

Tekno EB410 lightweight body shell & wing

Tekno RC have announced a lightweight body and wing for the EB410 1/10th scale 4WD buggy. The new 0.5mm body and 0.8mm thickness wing maintain original kit styling while reducing the material thickness. When combined, the body and wing achieve a savings of 20-grams versus the stock parts which lowers the centre of gravity and improves vehicle handling and acceleration on all track surfaces. The parts are available separately from now on.

Exotek EB410 rear brass weight set

Exotek have introduced a brass rear weight set for the Tekno EB410 buggy. Made of brass and black coated to reduce corrosion, this weight set is designed to easily bolt on to the rear of the EB410 with an extra low profile. The main weight is 40g and included are two add on 8g weights so that drivers can tune the rear weight of the buggy as needed. The weight set is also slightly angled off of the chassis to maintain chassis flex. Sold separately are additional 8g weights to add extra grams if needed.

JConcepts MT410 protective overtray

Coming from JConcepts and made for the Tekno RC MT410 monster truck is a protective overtray. When racing or bashing on a loamy or top-soil dirt surface, the inside of the MT410 chassis can become loaded with dirt or debris which creates extra weight. With the overtray these worries are minimised as the accessory fits snug around the entire chassis structure while being attached along the sides of the chassis with hook and loop tape for easy access. The overtray is built with height to provide extra room for various electrical and battery configurations but is still low enough for a clean fit and installation. There is a slight opening at the front-end which manoeuvres around the steering assembly and top-deck and also an open rear-end to provide some natural air-flow in and out of the closure. The tray has large front and rear trim-able openings which can be detailed for air-in and escape. The overtray comes clear and untrimmed.

Exotek roll out new EB410 optionals

Coming from Exotek and made for the Tekno RC EB410 buggy are a couple of new optional parts. First up is a machined heavy duty 81T spur gear and mounting plate set for the stock centre gear diff. The much stronger machined delrin spur gear reduces the chances of stripped gears and includes the machined 7075 mounting plate with hardware. The 2-piece design also makes for quick and easy spur gear changes as owners do not have to open the gear diff and remove the outdrive, or refill the oils. In addition the alloy mounting plate provides cooling of the diff fluid for more consistent diff action. A 81t spur gear is included and the alloy mount also works with Exotek’s optional 72T spur.
