Tekno RC EB/NB48 2.0 aluminium shock towers

Tekno RC have announced the release of two new optional shock towers for the EB/NB48 2.0 buggies. Improve the handling of your EB/NB48 2.0 with this new 7075 aluminium, CNC machined front and rear shock towers. The shock and camber link mounting locations on both towers have been fine-tuned, making it easier to dial your vehicle into the track conditions. An extra column of inner camber link positions was added to allow running a longer front and rear link for added stability. They also added an additional shock position to further lay down the front shocks for high grip tracks. The rear tower features two additional, higher wing mount positions have also been added to increase high-speed downforce and mid-corner rear grip. Both towers are gun metal anodised.

Tekno RC NT48 2.0 Nitro truggy

Tekno RC have released the long awaited NT48 2.0, the fastest and most durable nitro truggy that they have ever produced. The bar was set high with the legendary NT48.3 and its countless victories and podiums across the world. The new NT48 truggy incorporates all of the 2.0 platform’s best features such as quick access diffs, incredibly free suspension, twisted caster front arms, and a decoupled radio tray. After all of the performance features were worked out, they spent some time adding strength in all of the right places. The suspension arms are ridiculously beefy, the driveshafts are thicker, and they decided on a stout 4mm chassis. The chassis components are kept as far forward as possible to aid in steering response and corner rotation. Unless you’ve been under a rock for the last year, you’ve probably noticed that the entire RC racing industry has adopted their fresh approach to truggy body aesthetics.

Tekno RC adjustable Ackerman spindles & wheel hubs

Tekno RC have announced the release of six new option parts to further enhance the performance of your favourite 1/8 scale Tekno RC vehicle starting with these new adjustable Ackerman spindles. They have two important features, they provide the ability to adjust the Ackerman by using different length spindle arms and also have less incline angle for increased steering response. When these spindles are combined with a longer camber link length, front-end stability is improved while boosting overall responsiveness. Then by selecting different spindle arms, you can adjust the corner entry, middle, or exit aggressiveness to your liking. Also new are spindle arms that help fine-tune corner entry, middle, and exit steering response to your liking. Finally, new CNC machined aluminium wheel hubs offer a +3/+4mm offset and are lightened and anodised in the same gunmetal colour used on many of their parts. They are intended to be used on the ET48 2.0 and NT48 2.0 Truggies, however, they can also be used on all of our 1/8th scale platforms with no modifications required.

Exotek EB410.2 & ET410.2 heavy duty rear hub set

From Exotek come this new heavy duty alloy rear hub set for the EB410.2 and ET410.2. Switching the ball stud to an upright angle, the part still matches the stock geometry, but makes for easier roll centre adjustments by adding washers (not included) and the hubs are omnidirectional so that they can be mounted on either side of the vehicle. Extra durable for high powered applications and polished and anodised in Tekno team colours, they are then machined a second time to insure precise bearing fit.

Tekno optional diff cross pins & brake pad return springs

CNC machined from 7075 aluminium and hard anodised, these optional differential cross pins from Tekno reduce driveline rotating mass and slightly improve acceleration. They’re great if you’re looking to shave a few grams plus they last incredibly long due to the hard anodising. TKR9149A is a direct replacement for TKR9149 and is compatible with TKR9115 differential cases and TKR9150 gear sets. Also from Tekno are these revised extra stiff brake pad return springs to improve the consistency and lifespan of your brakes. The spring rate has been increased and provides more force to ensure your brakes won’t stick when disengaged. They provide a more natural feel in long runs and help eliminate brake fade by reducing friction between the brake discs and pads.

Tekno RC ET48 2.0 1/8th 4wd EP truggy

Following the recent introduction of the EB/NB48 2.0 buggies, it was only a matter of time until Tekno incorporated all of the cool features into an all-new truck platform. The ET48 2.0 shares many of the parts and design elements first introduced on the buggy. A primary goal of this project was to minimise the additional parts needed to help keep drivers on the track or bashing at their favourite spot. You will find that quite a few of the parts you already have will work on the new ET48 2.0. They carried over features first seen with the 2.0 buggies such as the industry-first suspension arms with built-in caster. This allows a longer overall arm length, ideal front-end geometry and increased durability. It has rear hubs that provide roll centre adjustments by adjusting the axle height and they carried over the active rear toe system. A substantial amount of time was invested in developing the smoothest suspension package available to make the truck a breeze to drive in the roughest conditions. They also brought over the quick access differentials with increased volume that improves consistency and efficiency with minimal maintenance time. And naturally, it has the extreme toughness as well as the great handling that Tekno RC vehicles are known for.

Tekno RC aluminium sway bar collars

Help keep the sway bars of your EB48 2.0 and NB48 2.0 vehicles in place for a long main with these new aluminium collars from Tekno RC. CNC machined from aluminium and hard anodised, these collars are less likely to move due to the threads being damaged from over-tightening or a direct hit to the sway bar. These are a direct replacement for the stock plastic collars and require four M3x4mm set screws.
