Coming from VSR Products and made for Tekno RC’s 1/10th scale buggies and trucks are two different height wing raiser shims. Available in 5mm and 7mm thickness the shims will improve rear end grip while also allowing for more consistent cornering. The 3-D-printed wing raisers are available separately and they include longer countersunk mounting hardware.
Coming from Avid is a 1-piece carbon fibre wing button for 1/8th scale off-road kits. The wing button is a nice alternative to the commonly used wing buttons and helps work as a template to mark the holes in new wings. Tekno RC have introduced their new CNC-machined XT engine tuning screw driver ideal for off-road and on-road engine carburettor tuning. The tool features the same feel, comfort, and adjustable length functionality of Tekno’s nut drivers. The tip is specifically designed for model engine tuning and a rubber flywheel stopper saves the driver’s or mechanic’s thumb from unneeded abuse. The handle is gun metal anodised for a sleek appearance and wear resistance. Soft knurling on the handle produces a high grip surface, reducing the risk of it slipping out of the hands when covered in oil or fuel. An M5 set screw holds the tip in place, preventing it from coming loose or strip out. Engine tuning is a breeze with the extended reach of the flat blade tip. Tips are available separately for spares or repair.

Coming from Exotek and made for the Tekno RC EB410 buggy are two new wheel hex adapter sets. The precision-machined 7075 alloy rear clamping hex set for the Tekno EB410 and ET410 are available as 6.5mm wide +2mm offset and 7.5mm +3mm offset sets, offering 2mm and 3mm of additional track width per side. The 6.5mm hexes can be used on the front or rear axles with the 7.5mm set being a rear item only. The hexes come polished and anodised in Exotek’s rich navy colour and they include M2 hardware.
Coming from Tekno RC and made for their line of off-road vehicles is a hardened steel diff case. CNC machined from steel and hardened, this diff case handles the extreme conditions found when pushing the vehicles to the limit. Although a steel diff case is perfectly suited for the MT410 or ET48 with a huge motor or 6S battery, it can also be used as a tuning option to help reduce wheel spin when racing the ET48, EB48, NT48, NB48 or SCT410 kits. The hardened steel diff case is a direct replacement for composite diff case and can be used in the front, centre or rear differentials.
VSR Products’ popular 1/8 scale wing shims are now available for the Tekno 1/8th scale platforms. The addition of the 7mm or 10mm wing shim elevates the rear wing of the NB48.4 or EB48.8. Raising the rear wing creates more downforce and stability at high speeds and on large jumps, and has worked well on large high-speed and bumpy tracks. Raising the wing allows it to create more consistent downforce, thus making a more consistent car throughout the corner. Both 3-D-printed shims come with two metric screws to replace the stock ones, and offers a tuning option between no shim and the VSR 10mm shim.
MIP has completed its line of 1/8th scale Bypass1 off-road pistons and now include sets for Agama, JQRacing, SWorkz, Tekno and Xray. Featuring colour-codes valves, the Bypass1 pistons combined together with these valves allow to control and maximise the car’s performance based on which valves used. Thicker valves generate a slower rebound and thinner valves get quicker rebounds. Each set includes four pistons and a set of three different valves. The Agama set includes 6+2 pistons, the JQRacing specific sets consists of 6+6 hole pistons, the SWorkz kit includes 6-hole pistons, the Tekno set is a 6+6 hole variant and the Xray compatible set also includes 6+6 pistons. Tekno have introduced their new 1/8th scale large radius spring perch set for their 1/8th scale vehicles. The locking shock rod end and spring perch set features an updated design to drastically increase the life of the shock boots. In this new set, the spring perch has been redesigned with a large radius at the top of the slot where the perch slips over the shock shaft, eliminating a sharp edge that could quickly damage the shock boot. Less shock boot tearing means the shocks will be more consistent between rebuilds with less dirt and dust being allowed in, which also preserves the shock shafts and O-rings. This new spring perch set features the same tall spring perch design as the previous #TKR6140B shock rod end and spring perch set and is made from the same durable composite plastic. Compatible with all Tekno RC 1/8th vehicles as well as the SCT410 and MT410.
