Titanium Racing Interlocking radial drive spools

Titanium Racing Interlocking radial drive spools

New from Titanium Racing, their latest spool features a new interlocking radial drive system which reduces loadings on the outdrives resulting in less deformation under load. Manufactured from an aero grade 7075 T6 Alloy body with replaceable high impact Delrin outdrives, with integrated sleeves, the radial drive system produces a more direct and equalised load around the circumference of the outdrive reducing potential stress areas on the spool, the bearings and ultimately the bulkheads. The new arrangement features increased diameter outdrive cups making them significantly stronger than previous designs and the outdrives are now secured in place with Titanium countersunk screws ensuring a lightweight solid and concentric unit with better balance for reduced losses at higher RPM’s. Available for the Schumacher Mi3 and Mi4, Tamiya 416, Top Photon, Yokomo MR4 BD5, Hot Bodies Cyclone and Associated TC5.

Titanium Racing BD5 front spool

You know a car is popular when aftermarket companies release optionals for it and it seems the Yokomo BD5 is getting popular with the second front spool release in 2 days. Titanium Racing Mi4 layshaft

Titanium Racing Mi4 layshaft

Titanium Racing have released this new upgrade product for the Schumacher Mi4. This new layshaft has been shortened to reduce the possibility of rear end tweak and it eliminates the link between the left and right hand side of the bulkheads. This allows the two top carbon torsion plates to operate as they should, providing a great degree of controlled independent flex. Made from aluminium, this shortened lay shaft claims to provide for a more uniform and deeper flex, aiding rear end traction. Most notably transmission noise has also been reduced thus increasing transmission efficiency.
