TKO B5M carbon fibre slipper disc set

TKO have introduced a new carbon fibre slipper disc set for the Team Associated B5M buggy and others using the same size, such as the Yokomo YZ-2. Made from carbon ultra poly material to provide consistency, smoothness and feel, the carbon material makes for rapid heat dissipation and thermal stability without glazing and hot spots. The pads are virtually maintenance free, they come in sets of two and weight in at 0.7g.

Ryan Maifield teams up with TKO

TKO have announced that Team Losi Racing’s Ryan Maifield has joined their team. TKO products, such as wheel, clutch and engine bearings will be in his race cars and with the rolling out of TKO’s new electric performance product line Ryan will also help with testing and development. Currently Ryan is running TKO products such as ceramic engine bearings, flat & finished diff rings, special RT clutch bearings and wheel bearings, Eureka gear box lube, and Enhanced Rotation bearing lube with more to come.

TKO have introduced their new flat & finished diff rings for the Associated B5 and a range of pan cars. Using their ‘Totally Flat Technology’, TKO claims to have produced the finest diff rings available. Using a proprietary process, the rings faces are flat to within 2 microns. and the faces are parallel to within 1 micron, one micron being 40 millionths of an inch (.0000040). The faces have a #7 finish to provide traction for the diff balls and they fit flat on the hub for near zero run out.

TKO Radial/Thrust Clutch bearings

TKO Competition development have introduced a new radial / thrust design bearing (5x13x4) for use in the clutch of Losi 1/8th scale off roaders. The Patent Pending bearing has 2 seals, one blue and one black, with the blue seal facing the front of the car. These bearings have a higher RPM rating than standard 5x13s and are capable of withstanding high radial and axial loads for improved performance and life. Their 5×10 bearing has also been updated with these 2 different coloured seals.
