Samix have introduced their new V2 brass hub carriers for the Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck. Machined from heavy brass material the hubs add 82g of weight to one of the lowest parts of the truck to improve climbing performance while offering additional shock mounting locations. The parts are compatible with the standard Traxxas items and a black surface coating ensures corrosion resistance and cool looks.
Traxxas have introduced their forthcoming TRX-4 Sport kit, the unassembled version of the company’s popular 1/10th 4×4 trail truck.
The new TRX-4 Sport Unassembled Kit lets modellers built the truck of their dreams from the ground up and it includes a range of accessory options such as expedition Rack, snorkel, spare tyre mount, LED-ready grille and tailgate panel. The kit comes as roller sans electronics, allowing to add your choice of power system for transfer a used one from another model. The clear body shell comes pre-cut, meaning less stress when prepping that one of a kind body shell. The truck’s chassis comes equipped with portal design axles for superior ground clearance, threaded GTS shock absorbers, competition-worthy 1.9 trail tyres and steel chassis rails and suspension links. Not included is all running gear such as a 550-class motor, speed controller, high-torque servo, or radio system. The kit will hit stores very soon.
Coming soon from Traxxas is the TRX-4 based Chevrolet Blazer RTR 4WD trail truck. Introduced in 1969, the Chevrolet Blazer was General Motors’ two-door entry into the booming sport utility market. Its shorter wheelbase and capable suspension instantly made it a favourite in the 4×4 world, earning the love of enthusiasts and collectors. Traxxas donors the rich history of the Blazer with this beautifully detailed reproduction of the 1979 K5 Blazer built on the proven TRX-4 chassis. Features include replica Rally wheels, a highly detailed chrome grill, and a full complement of scale details. Other details of the TRX-4 chassis include heavy duty steel frame rails, adjustable wheelbase, moulded wire retainers, a dual battery tray, floor pans, alloy shocks and heavy-duty steel links.
Coming from Samix and made for the Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck are new aluminium battery plates. Machined from high quality aluminium and coming in three different colours, the plates are available in 23mm and 26mm height specification, allowing the use of LCG or standard height battery packs and due to the aluminium construction the battery hold down plates will help to dissipate heat generated by the battery pack.

Coming from Pro-Line and made for the Traxxas X-Maxx are the new Pro-Arms upper and lower arm kit as well as the Pro-Hubs rear uprights. Starting with the arm kit, the US-made kit includes cutting edge race-style black arms with smooth bottoms that are capped off with stone gray stiffening plates resulting in extremely durable and rigid arms. The arm plates are held on by multiple flat head screws and the stone gray colour is the exact same as Pro-Line’s Impulse Pro-Loc wheel rings so they can be dyed or painted to match the truck’s style. The Pro-Arms are direct replacements for the stock X-MAXX arms and are designed from the ground up to be nearly indestructible. Each arm kit includes a set of two upper and lower arms along with the stone gray plates and hardware. The Pro-Arms are cored out from the top to save weight and the arm plates keep dirt, mud and debris out of the arms.
Coming for trucks such as the Traxxas Rustler 2WD or 4×4 are three new specialised 2.8” tyres from Pro-Line. Starting with the Trencher LP 2.8” all-terrain tyre, the tread is ideal when running in loose or hard-packed dirt, sand, snow, street or gravel conditions. The Trencher LP 2.8” is a direct replacement tyre and will fit on any 2.8” wheels including all of Pro-Line’s 2.8” wheel options. The Trencher tread was designed to have ultimate traction combined with long-lasting durability. Each tyre lug is shaped to dig into whatever surface modellers are running on and is ultra-thick so that it is extremely durable. Next up is the Sand Paw LP 2.8” tyre. There is nothing like the rush of ripping through the sand dunes or shredding the fresh powdery snow with a high-powered truck. Usual tyres will just slip around in the sand and snow, but the Sand Paw LP tyre will grip, rip and roost. The 2.8” tyre will fit most 2.8” wheels. Last but not least comes the Street Fighter LP 2.8” tyre that has the perfect balance of G force enhancement and style that will keep the truck turning heads. The Street Fighter LP 2.8” is a direct replacement tyre and will fit on any 2.8” wheels including all of Pro-Line’s 2.8” wheel options.

Machined from high-quality material the case adds 17g of weight to one of the lowest parts of the truck, helping to add climb performance while also offering greater stability compared to the standard composite diff case. The part is a direct fit and it can be used on both the front and the rear axles.
Coming from Samix and made for the Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck is an aluminium differential case. Machined from high-quality material the case, that is usable in the front and rear axles, offers greatly improved stability and durability compared to the standard part and it available in three different colours.
