Team Raffee have introduced new brass optionals for the popular Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck in the form of link mounts, a front bumper mount and front knuckle weights. All are made of high-quality brass material, they sport a natural finish and the bumper mount also comes decorated with a Team Raffee Co TRC logo. All parts are direct fits and they help to up the truck’s overall weight for better climb performance.
Yeah Racing have introduced a power switch extension for the Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck that does away with the need to take the body off in order to reach the on/off switch. The extension lever tucks neatly underneath the rock slider and will not come into contact with rocks for accidental power downs while still allowing for an easy reach. The set is a direct fit for the standard TRX-4 truck and it is available now.
Traxxas have introduced their new Slash 4×4 short course truck with Titan 12T 550 motor and XL-5 speed controller. The new truck combines the best elements of the hardcore Slash 4X4 VXL with the more affordable Titan 12T 550 brushed motor and the waterproof XL-5 electronic speed control. The chassis is equipped with a slipper clutch with 32 pitch gears, fluid-filled front and fear differentials as well as large volume shock absorbers. Other features include the TQ 2.4GHz radio system, a 4A DC peak detecting fast chargers and a Traxxas Power Cell 7-cell NiMH battery. The truck is rounded out by a pre-decorated body shell, available in two colour schemes, and matching wheels.
Made for Castle Creation’s Sidewinder 4 speed controller is the new Traxxas-compatible ESC cage from RPM. The cage allows to securely mount the controller without having to use unreliable tape or zip ties as it secretly clamps the controller while being attached to the chassis using existing mounting positions. RPM also include a separate, encased on/off switch mount that bolts directly to the cage in one of four locations for extreme versatility. Since the switch attaches to the cage, no extra time is needed to remove it during maintenance or if owners decide to swap the ESC between vehicles. The cage is available in black or blue colour and it fits the Traxxas Stampede 4×4, Slash 4×4, Slash 4×4 LCG, Slash 2wd, Slash 2wd LCG and Rally as well as the Stampede 2wd, Rustler and Bandit, the latter three require the use of the Traxxas #3725 mounting plate.
Coming from Traxxas and made for their ground-breaking Unlimited Desert Racer are new satin black chrome chassis parts. A direct replacement for the standard black items the satin black chrome chassis and suspension parts add a cool new look the the truck as do the alternative colour silver, red or blue inner panels. All parts can be mixed and matched as needed and some of the sets also include the required hardware.
Coming from Samix and made for the Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck is an adjustable aluminium servo brace. The item is machined from high-quality aluminium and its sliding design allows to use the most popular servos without any modifications. While being very versatile the item also greatly improves overall chassis rigidity while protecting the servo case from excessive stress. The servo brace comes in three different colours and it is available now.
Made for Traxxas’ popular TRX-4 trail truck are two new option parts from Yeah Racing. First up is a set of brass portal axle covers whose bulky design adds 118g of weight per axle. The covers are a direct fit and while adding weight and style they also improve overall rigidity of the portal axle assembly. Also new are metal rock rails for the TRX-4 truck. Made from steel and coming with a black surface coating for wear and looks, the rails replace the original plastic units to offer better chassis and body protection in heavy terrain.
Coming from Traxxas and made for the Unlimited Desert Racer is the Pro-Scale High Intensity LED light kit. The included Traxxas High Voltage Amplifier packs the muscle to efficiently power the 204 individual LEDs in the kit while minimising losses from excessive current and heat. The tightly regulated output provides stable lighting performance, without flickering or dimming as the battery voltage changes. In another Traxxas first, the smart brake lights work when brakes are applied in both forward and reverse directions. This eliminates the common problem with generic aftermarket systems that turn on the brake lights while reversing. The kit includes dual straight LED bumper-mounted LED light bars, a curved roof light bar, multifunction red and amber brake light/class light bar, a high-voltage 8-channel power amplifier for intense, brilliant LED lighting, and a regulated output for stable lighting performance with no flickering or dimming as the battery voltage changes. Rather than draw valuable power away from the BEC, the power amplifier uses the Power Port on the VXL-6s ESC to tap power directly from the batteries. The power amplifier transforms and regulates battery current to for reliable high-power performance. Three different lighting modes on the amplifier let owners control which lights illuminate. The Traxxas Link App helps to further customise the lighting modes to the required specifications or to turn the lights on and off directly in the app. The kit includes all mounting hardware to make installation a breeze.
