JConcepts Silent Speed spur gears

JConcepts introduce their new line of Silent Speed spur gears for select Team Associated, TLR and Traxxas vehicles. The gears are precision machined making them uniquely concentric over standard or molded gears giving the user a consistent gear mesh allowing a more precise adjustment and more silence on the race track. The detailed machining provides a pattern vented area and secured slipper pad on both sides giving more consistent slipper performance. The gears are marked for size in 2 different ways so they are identifiable either assembled within a slipper assembly or as a stand-alone part and come in various sizes with 69 and 72 tooth spur gears now available specifically for 1/10th AE off-road vehicles and stock class racing.

JConcepts Scalpel speed-run body

JConcepts introduces the Scalpel speed-run body and front bumper conversion to convert the Slash 4×4 into an insane speed-run machine. Looking straight into the headlights you can tell right away something is different about the Scalpel. A menacing look from the front-end highlighted by a dramatic chin-spoiler, the front-end is built for speed and direction. Large fenders allow plenty of clearance for the 2.8” G-Locs tires and the extremely low roof-line cuts like a knife. A shallow bed area gives the Scalpel a truck-like appearance while maintaining that all inclusive speed-line structure. Finishing off the body is clean and smooth with the inclusion of grill, headlight, taillight and miscellaneous logos that make the Scalpel look the part.

P-S-R Traxxas bearing sets

Power-Save-Racing introduce ball bearing sets for many 1/10th and 1/16th scale Traxxas vehicles. The bearings reduce friction, make for less maintenance and are available as 8-piece sets for the 1/16 Slash, E-Revo, and Rally, the Jato 3.3, Slash-based 2WD chassis, the Slash 4×4 and the Revo 3.3, E-Revo and Summit.

Traxxas 1/10th Rally car

Traxxas announce their 1/10th brushless rally racer based on an all-new low centre of gravity 4WD chassis. The chassis assembly is of a modular type making tuning and maintenance easy. Other features include extra long suspension arms, adjustable turnbuckles, shaft drivetrain with two gear differentials and slipper clutch as well as new all-terrain rally wheels, tires and body shell. Included with the ready-to-run kit comes a 3500kv brushless motor, VXL-3s LiPo-compatible controller and TQi radio system.

STRC SC10/B4/T4 & Slash 2wd options

ST Racing Concepts have released a number of new optional parts starting with some new CNC machined aluminium steering knuckle for the Associated SC10/B4/T4 along with aluminium hex adapters. The knuckles are a direct bolt on for SC10RS vehicles and works for those that want to convert to inboard style front steering knuckles. The hex adapters for the SC10/T4 are designed to work with the inboard steering knuckle setup. Available in blue, gun metal, red and silver. CNC machined aluminium rear chassis “L” Brackets for the Slash 2wd LCG conversion kit replace the 4 spacers that connect the lower chassis to the rear deck of the conversion kit making the truck more rigid in this connection area and also less likely to loose during dis-assembly and maintenance.

Pro-Line Pro-2 LCG Slash chassis kit

Pro-Line introduce the Pro-2 LCG chassis kit for the Slash 2WD truck. The kit contains a tough, hard anodised 7075 aluminium chassis plate that allows for adjustable weight bias, durable servo mounts and steering posts as well as jet fighter inspired side pods and bumpers for that overall racy look. The chassis design does away with the stock ‘channel’ and significantly lowers the centre of gravity for improved on track performance.

JConcepts Slash Hazard wheels & battery brace

JConcepts introduce their popular 10 spoke Hazard wheels for the Traxxas Slash 2WD and 4×4 line of trucks. The 12mm hex wheels come in black, white or yellow colour as rims only or pre-mounted with JC’s green compound Subcultures or 3Ds tires. Also new is the Monroe carbon fibre battery brace for the Traxxas Slash 4×4. Made from 2.5mm material the brace makes for a secure fit and stylish of flat case battery packs such as Traxxas NiMH, Reedy WolfPack LiPo and Venom 3S LiPo packs. Included with the brace comes a protective foam pad.

Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate Mike Jenkins Edition

Traxxas introduce the Mike Jenkins Edition Slash 4×4 Ultimate Ready-To-Race truck. Based on the standard all-wheel drive Slash the Ultimate Edition includes blue anodised 6061-T6 aluminium C-hubs, steering blocks, rear hub carriers and wheel nuts. Also included are adjustable front and rear anti-roll bars, optional extra-stiff swaybar wires, PTFE-coated big bore shock absorbers, a fluid-filled centre differential and an officially licensed Mike Jenkins Edition body shell. Other standard equipment included is a TQi 2.4GHz radio system with Docking Base, telemetry-ready 5-channel receiver, Velineon brushless system, 7-cell NiMH battery pack and a suitable AC charger.
