German brand TRR Racestuff has introduced carbon fibre body mount plates for several 1/10th formula pan cars. Cut from high-quality graphite material the plates are available for kits such as the Team Associated F6, the Xray X1 2017, Roche Rapid 2016 and the Shepherd Velox 2017. Offering a slight re-design compared to TRR’s previous chassis the plate is cut from 2.2mm high-quality carbon material, it is of a 100 percent symmetrical design and offers milled out pockets for the motor, main gear and the differentials. The chassis was successfully used by Christian Donath to score Pro-Stock A-final results at the three recent ETS events in Italy, Austria and Luxembourg.
Following TRR-Racestuff’s 235mm conversion kit for the Team Associated 10R5.1 the German company now also have a narrow chassis conversion available that retains the standard 200mm width and is compatible with the kit’s standard parts. The conversion includes a slim 2.5mm carbon fibre main chassis plate, new 2.5mm sidelink wings, a front LiPo rail for 1S and 2S shorty LiPo packs, hexagonal chassis standoffs and the needed shims. The chassis allows to three different sidelink configurations; a hanging layout with parallel links, angled chassis-mounted links that open toward the power pod and a third variant using an optional lower power pod plate that allows to run angled links that close towards the power pod. The kit greatly increases the setup potential of Team Associated’s World GT car and the conversion becomes available by end of January.
