Fenix have introduced a new Pro10 gear differential specifically designed for the popular VIP Performance VTE kit, a prototype ball differential as well as a range of silicone fluids. Starting with the VIP gear diff, the assembly uses a 7mm titanium axle and a new diff housing that allows for proper 235mm specifications. Included in the kit comes a clamping diff hub with M3 and 4-40 unc threads that allows to use either of the two. As for the prototype ball differential, it builds on a 1/4 inch titanium axle for durability and precision, it utilises 16 1/8 inch diff balls for smoothness and like the above gear diff, it will make use of the double thread clamping hub. Last but not least comes Fenix’s new silicone fluid range that covers everything from shock to touring diff up to gear diff silicone oils. The 100 percent pure silicone oils are made in Europe and they come in convenient snap cap bottles.
Fenix have introduced a new version of their popular gear differential for 1/10th scale 235mm pan cars. Now coming with a 7mm Grade 5 titanium rear axle shaft the gear diff can be used in Pro10 cars such as the VIP Performance and Corally kits that use 7mm rear axles from standard. The diff and axle set comes including a sturdy 48 pitch 84T spur gear and it is available now.
Project Godspeed from Germany have introduced their new PG-10 front suspension kit for the VIP Performance VTE and Vorlon Pro10 pan cars. The complex yet lightweight front end allows for the adjustment of parameters such as roll centre, caster and reactive caster and by doing away with the standard aluminium bulkheads it is very light of weight. With the addition of optional tube dampers even finer adjustments are accessible. The set is designed to work with 3.15mm king pin front axles such as the likes of Team Associated, Roche and Xenon. Parts needed for completion include pivot balls, kingpins, steering knuckles, wheel axles, ball cups and turnbuckles.
German brand VIP Performance has released first images of their forthcoming VTE 235mm Pro10 kit. Based off of the championship-winning Vorlon, the VTE will feature a new thinner main chassis plate with side rails, it will utilise a 4mm lower V-link geometry and 2mm lower side links. To this add a new upper damper plate, a floating servo mount, a redesigned top deck for less tweak as well as new side wings. The car is meant to be lighter, it offers improved cornerspeed due to the optimised chassis stiffness and it will generate more traction for low grip conditions. The wider pod kit and HD bumper will also be part of the kit that is set for a release this Spring.
German company VIP Performance have introduced the new VPL V2 Pro10 bodyshell. The redesigned version 2 features a 5mm lower rear end, a refined cockpit shape and new front stiffeners for improved corner speed. The body is made from clear polycarbonate, it fits most “wide” 1/10th scale Pro10 pan car chassis and it is available now.
VIP Performance have released this new tuning motorpod base plate for the Corally 10SL. A direct bolt on replacement, it has been made from T6 aluminium, the material helping to dissipate heat with extra ribbing for better air cooling and a cooler motor means better performance. Expect this design to be made available for other vehicles too.
New from VIP Performance is the first in a new line of products specifically for the pan car market, this S100 235mm conversion set. Converting the standard 200mm World GT car to the wider format, the kit includes a 3mm carbon front plate that enables the front track width to be mounted wider. The other changes are at the rear of the car and include a lightweight wheel hub and wheel hub spaces as well as a D-Drive graphite axle to complete the conversion.
