Viper VST XL 550 motor

Viper R/C have entered the 550 motor game with the all new VST 4.5XL and 5.5XL 550 class motors. The VST-XL series coupled with the powerful VTX10R ESC makes an optimum setup for your 4×4 short course. They have been in the testing and development stages for many months with top level drivers such as Billy Fischer. Billy’s power systems have been both extremely powerful and reliable even under the toughest racing conditions at the Silverstate and Cactus Classic. The motors are expect to arrive in mid June.

Viper R/C signs Paul Sinclair

Viper R/C Solutions have announced that Paul Sinclair, Chief Engineer and Team Manager of X-Factory has signed to use VTX speed controls, and VST brushless motors and accessories. With many years of technical design work in the radio control industry, Paul’s experience will be of great benefit to the Viper team. He will be using Viper products in his X-6 Squared, X-60 and Prototype 4wd at all major off road events in the US and around the world. Already after an early shakedown test Paul reported “Love the throttle and brake ‘feel’, it was very easy to adapt to and drive. Just a nice power delivery, smooth and yet power out of the corners.”

Viper R/C signs Andrew Smolnik

Viper R/C Solutions have announced long time pro racer Andrew Smolnik as the latest addition to their growing team of top level racers. Andrew holds numerous offroad titles and will be a serious contender at both 1/10 and 1/8 electric events. At the first race working with Viper, the 25th Annual Cactus Classic, Andrew took 4th in 2wd 13.5 and 2nd in 4wd 13.5 after a hard fought battle down to the last corner. The Cactus is an excellent proving ground due to the high level of competition and extreme conditions. “I would like to thank Viper R/C Solutions for the opportunity to represent their great product at the race track. I look forward to a long and prosperous relationship. Laszlo Kiss-Orban joins Viper RC

Viper RC Solutions have announced that multiple Hungarian National Champion Laszlo Kiss-Orban has joined their international racing team. Laszlo will be testing and racing Viper R/C ESC’s and motors at major European events like EFRA Euros, the Euro Touring Series and Hungarian Nationals.

For me, as an electrical engineer, this opportunity has double value. To use at the races a highly innovative device like Viper R/C speedo, motors, and accessories as a driver is one part, but to participate in this development team thinking and working by their own way it’s a plus for me. I would like to thank Viper R/C for giving me this great opportunity, and I hope my small country will become well known part of the European racing field in the future.

Viper R/C Solutions have been in touch to tell us about the release of some new products beginning with their new line of VST 1/10 competition BL motors. A complete range of winds is available and the the motor itself sports ultra low resistance high grade copper solder tabs and a precision CNC machined 6061 T6 ribbed billet aluminium can. Featuring fully adjustable timing, there are 5 optional high performance rotors available and the motor is ROAR legal. Viper have also introduced their new Pro Gauge 5-in-1 electronic tool that serves as a programmer for their line of electronics but also acts as a servo tester, battery checker, PPM signal monitor and for airplanes and helicopters it can act as an RPM tachometer.
