Excelerate RC Prodigy line Steel Chassis Plates

US brand Excelerate RC, who only became a car manufacturer less than 12-months ago, has released a range of heat treated steel chassis plates for their Prodigy line of electric onroad kits.  These steel chassis plates lower the centre of gravity and adds weight where it’s most optimal compared to the stock aluminium chassis plates.  For the Prodigy WGT-R steel chassis plate adds 37 grams of weight while for the Prodigy F1 it adds 49 grams.   For their Prodigy 12 1:12 car the switch from the kit aluminium chassis to the steel option adds 17 grams of weight to the lowest point of the car.
