Yokomo BD7 option parts announced

Following the announcement of the BD7 RS touring car Yokomo introduce several new option parts for the BD7 competition kit. First up are the aeration shock caps that are designed to improve the car’s handling on bumpy tracks. The bleeder screw caps allow rebound adjustments and come including screws and new O-ring seals. Next up are 2 degree and 6 degree C-hubs to adjust the corner entry and corner exit steering characteristics. The 2 degree hubs improve the initial steering reaction and are best suited for tight tracks and also high grip surfaces where traction rolling is an issue. The 6 degree variants though improve mid and corner exit steering and are best used on tracks with high speed corners.

Yaiba Racing RB6 graphite battery plate set

Yaiba Racing have released this woven graphite battery plate set with red anodized aluminuim posts and aluminium battery strap thumb nuts. An easy direct replacement for the standard plastic battery holder it is compatible with all types of motor layout and battery style and is approximately 12% lighter than the standard plastic battery holder.

Roche T4 spring retainers, shock towers & servo mount

Roche have released a number of option parts for the ever popular T4. First up is these 13.5mm diameter orange anodised aluminium spring retainers which are suitable for Xray’s T4 big bore damper. Sold in a complete set of 4. Next up is a single piece aluminium floating servo mount which is mounted along the centerline of the chassis, ensuring symmetrical chassis flex and a more balanced steering response. Finally there is optional 3.5mm thick graphite front and rear CNC machined shock towers.

Tamiya TRF201 XR aluminium lower deck set

Seen at this week’s Shizuoka Hobby show in Japan, Tamiya have their new longer XR aluminium lower deck set for the TRF201 2wd buggy. Replacing the car’s composite chassis the set comes with a new aluminium main chassis, composite side rails and battery mountings. The new chassis is heavier and more importantly 11mm longer bringing it inline with the other buggies on the market who have already switched to a long wheelbase version.

RDRP Durango machined 48DP main gears

New from Revolution Design Racing Products come machined 48DP main gears for Team Durango 1/10th vehicles. The gears are made from a special compound material for improved strength, lowest running noise and highest precision. Sporting machined inner holes to reduce weight and to make for a cool factory look the gears are available in 78T, 83T and 87T specifications.

Spec-R T4 motor mount support & driveshafts

Spec-R have released some new items for the Xray T4 starting with this aluminium motor mount support. The black anodised support bracket connects the car’s motor mount to the top deck which they claim helps to improve the car’s response. Also for the T4 are a pair of black anodised 7075 aluminium 50mm drive shafts. Super lightweight and a direct replacement part for the stock item.

JConcepts metric washer set

Small adjustments matter when it comes to competitive racing and JConcepts is on top of the small adjustments with the release of this metric washer set. These washers are perfect for roll-center adjustments on 1/10th scale vehicles and are also extremely handy for shimming suspension components or common wheel base adjustments. The (.5, 1, 2 and 3mm) washers are constructed in aluminium, anodized blue and include 4 pieces of each thickness per package.

Xray XB9 graphite lower arm plates

New for the XB9, Xray have released these optional 1.6mm thick graphite lower arm plates that when mounted stiffen the arms and make the car more stable and easier to drive under high-grip conditions. The plates can be easily mounted/dismounted on the arms with 4 screws, and easily change the hardness of the whole front and rear suspension.
