Smokem Racing TRF416 steering brace

Smokem Racing has released a carbon fibre steering brace for the TRF416-series touring cars. A common tuning trick on the TRF416 is to remove the factory aluminum steering bridge to increase front end flex for more steering. But in certain cases, this can make the steering too sensitive and decrease stability. Made from 2.25mm carbon fire, the 416 Steering Brace gives you the perfect compromise of more steering but still awesome stability. Similar custom fabricated steering braces have been used by TRF drivers with great success and now Smokem Racing brings this tuning part to all TRF416 racers.

CSO Evolva M3 clutch pinions

CSO Racing have introduced a line of clutch bell pinion gears for the Kyosho Evolva M3 1/8th scale. Made from 7075 T6 hard coated aluminium, they will be available in 15T, 16T, 19T & 20T versions to allow you to fine tune your clutch for all different tracks.

Xray Narrow Aluminium pinion gears

Xray have introduced their new line of narrow pinions, manufactured on a specially-modified precision gear machine which has ultra-precise tolerances and assures unparalleled concentricity. After machining, the edges of pinions are chamfered and then the pinions are run in and then specially treated to give them an even hardcoating so they stay absolutely true for a long time. The pinions run great with any spur gears, and work perfectly with Xray spur gears where even throttle on/off noise nearly disappears. These new 40T, 42T, 44T, 46T, 48T and 50T 64-pitch narrow high-performance pinion gears are manufactured from special lightweight aircraft duraluminium are 1.5mm thinner and 25% lighter than the regular-size pinion gears.

DE Racing XD rear skid plates

DE Racing, makers of the original skid plates, have released their latest product, the XD rear skid plate. Never satisfied with good enough, they have raised the bar and created the “ultimate rear skid plate”. Featuring a new leading edge for greatly improved longevity and performance and new stronger screw countersinks, they are now ultra thin which eliminates the need for longer screws. Race proven using the highest quality engineering resin they wear like aluminium at a fraction of the price and weight. Sold in packs of 3 these new plates are currently only available for the Losi 8ight line of buggies and truggies as well as the Mugen MBX-6 buggy and truggy.

CS Electronic LiPo battery box

CS Electronic have released this handy LiPo battery box which gives a safe place to store your valuable investment. Capable of holding up to 3 stick configuration packs in a padded foam compartment, there is also a section for charging and balancing cables. The outer case of the box is made of a hard plastic and features a catch that locks the box securely for transport.

PSM Racing TRF801X CVD axles

PSM Racing have introduced new front/rear and middle CVD axles for the Tamiya TRF801X. Made from 7075 aluminium, for high performance and low weight, they are manufactured with low tolerances to fit perfectly. Designed to improve the weight and acceleration of your rotating parts, they´ve added extra pin positions so you have three positions to change to in the event of wear.

Losi 8ight Titanium parts & Great grease

Team Losi have introduced a number of optional titanium parts for their range of 8ight buggies and truggies. For the 8ight buggy their is this turnbuckle set (above), while there is a similar set for the truggy, both of which consist of 6 pieces and because of their new material, are super strong yet lightweight. For both cars there is also a set of 4 x 21mm hinge pins and also a set of 4 shock stand offs, also made from titanium. Losi have also released their simply named ‘Great Grease’. This is a high grade synthetic grease that stands up to both heat and cold as well as wet and dry with exceptional adhesion qualities. Ideal for spiral gears, CVDs and areas where you want the grease to adhere to moving parts it is supplied in an 8cc tube.

Kyosho Inferno GT2 2-speed transmission

Kyosho have released a new shoe type 2-speed transmission for the Inferno GT2 touring car series that will soon be available. It replaces the old pin type clutch system that is found currently in all GT2 cars. A dramatic increase in bottom end acceleration is achieved by using a shoe type clutch system, this will greatly benefit all Inferno GT2 owners. The first gear combination features 15T/46T gears for strong acceleration. Second gear features a 19T/43T gear combination, which results in more top speed. So, you have the best of both worlds, strong acceleration and awesome top speed.
