MIP Traxxas Slayer & Summit options

MIP have released a number of new products for the Traxxas Summit and Slayer, starting with these spline and center CVD kits, which replace the plastic drive shafts with hardened high strength alloy, used for high power electric systems. MIP Spline technology accommodates both long and short travel suspensions and comes with 6mm bores for new style output shafts. MIP have also introduced an adjustable 2 hole clutch kit for the Traxxas Slayer that has two sets of holes for light or heavy setting and are pre-cut to ensure symmetrically even wear. Easy installation and operation, they offer great durability and wear resistance.

Shepherd Velox V8 short side belt

Following extensive testing Shepherd have decided to produced a new low-friction middle belt according to their own specifications. It has an overall length of 435mm and suits the new pulleys included in the Velox V8 2010 perfectly. With the standard belt it was a little bit difficult to find the right tension when using the pulley ’09 set, but with this new belt that problem is eliminated.

CSO V-One series pulleys

CSO Products have released two complete sets of pulleys for the Kyosho V-One RRR Evo2 WC and V-One S3. These hard coated 7075 T6 aluminium pulleys are sold in sets of 5 with both featuring a 23T, 27T, 21T and 2 x 18T with the only difference between both is the 21T brake pulley which is a single piece, incorporating pins for the brake disc, on the RRR set.

Exotek Racing have introduced the Exotek 416XL, a high performance multi adjustment LiPo chassis that represents uncompromised balanced LiPo performance. With the unique CNC manufactured stainless steel weights your LiPo battery can be positioned to have equal left and right balance within grams without the need to add lead weight and without raising the battery up higher. The 2mm thick 416XL chassis is designed and tested to equalize lateral flex. No more inconsistent flex problems caused by 6 large battery cut outs like in the stock chassis. The net result is much more predictable handling. A special included 3mm thick servo mount wing securely mounts your servo. HPI Racing have released this woven graphite upper deck, a high performance option part for Formula Ten cars. Lightweight woven graphite construction gives the upper deck incredible stiffness and durability compared to the stock upper deck, and it looks great too. Each upper deck is precision machined to HPI factory specifications for a perfect fit.
