LRP Exhaust, Clutch shoes & Inserts

More new items from LRP, this time for use with 1/8th scale buggies and truggies. First up is this new 3-chamber tuned pipe, which has been tested and developed in close cooperation with the LRP factory team. Specially developed for racing situations in which you need maximum top-speed and reliable performance, this new exhaust system works perfectly with engines from .21 – .30 size. Also newly released are clutch shoes made from carbon-reinforced synthetic material. The carbon clutch shoes improve the throttle response, resulting in a easier and more controllable handling of your car, especially important on slippery and difficult off road tracks. Extremely long lasting and consistent performance even after many weeks of racing. Finally, there are new VTEC 1/8th off road buggy molded inserts, available in both Soft (yellow) and Medium (blue) hardness.

Answer-RC 3 shoe High Bite Clutch set

After many months of testing Answer-RC are confident that no other clutch shoes can offer the same high level of bite and low wear ratio as their high bite low wear clutch set. The shoe is lightweight thus reducing rotating mass helping the engine spool quicker and reducing drive train mass. The shoes each have a built in stand off washer to lift the shoe from the flywheel and this reduces drag on the flywheel allowing you to tune the clutch perfectly with the 3 included spring sets.

Xray NT1 Super-Light Solid Axle set

For NT1 racers looking for smart weight savings and optimized rotating weight, Xray have released this ultra-lightweight solid axle as a direct replacement for the standard diff or Multi-Diff. This axle is 56% lighter than the standard Solid Axle, with a hollow axle for super-low rotating weight. The ultra-strong 1-piece solid axle is CNC-machined from world-renowned HUDY Spring Steel, and includes lightweight aircraft aluminium pulley adapter.

KM Racing NT1 Aluminium pulleys

KM Racing have released a number of new pulleys for the Xray NT1 chassis. Available in 18T, 19T and 25T versions, all pulleys are made from hard anodized aluminium so they are lightweight and strong and their design and coating helps prevent the build up of dirt and debris.

SMP Racing V-One RRR & MRX-4 parts

Swiss company SMP Racing, makers of the Slide 1/8th scale chassis which is no longer in production, have aimed their sites on the manufacture of aftermarket parts. Focusing on lightweight performance parts, they have released some new wheel axles for the Kyosho V-One RRR Evo, one pair made from titanium, weighing in at 6 grams and another set made from hard coated aluminium weighing 3 grams. Also new is a hard coated aluminum servo saver shaft for the Mugen MRX-4, which also weighs only 3 grams.

King Headz XB808 motor mount

King Headz have released this CNC machined 7075 aircraft grade aluminum engine mount for the Xray XB808. Designed with a base mount and removable top blocks, once installed in the vehicle and the gear mesh is set you can remove and reinstall the motor without resetting the mesh. Suitable for both a Nova based or Picco based motor, the mount has an extended leg that will help to reduce chassis flex near the flywheel hole. The top blocks are also available separately.

CRC EZ Pipe Mount

Calandra Racing Concepts have released this EZ Pipe mount for use on 1/8th scale gas off road buggies and truggues. Instead of having to make multiple lengths and shape pipe hanger wires for different types or brands of pipe, you can simply loosen the set screws and adjust the length to match your pipe. Simple and effective.

TRT Technik Lola Body Stiffener set

Body makers TRT Technik from Germany were in contact to tell us about their newest product, this body stiffener set. Designed for use with 1/8th scale on road competition bodies such as the Central Lola, Collari Peugeot 908, Sprint RC Zytec, SLB Lola Expert8 and more, it comes complete with a trim strip, 2 x 90 degree side body stiffeners, 2 x 45 degree side body stiffeners and 2 rear wing stiffeners, all with self adhesive strips.
