Fenix 1-piece differential joint for Formula cars

Italian company Fenix Racing introduce a 1-piece differential shaft for 1/10th scale Formula 1 cars. Made for Tamiya-style 6mm rear axles the part is machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and it offers a longer thread to allow the use of taller M4 self locking nuts. This in turn improves reliability and allows to use a larger number of diff springs. To minimise weight the contact area for the inner diff plate has been milled down to the smallest possible diameter while the precise machining of the whole parts ensures super true running.

Shepherd Velox V10 Pro Team Edition main chassis

Shepherd announce the release of the Team Edition main chassis plate for the Velox V10 Pro 1/10th 200mm car. Developed and tested by the Shepherd’s factory team drivers the new chassis has already shown its potential at this year’s European Championship in Valencia. The extra hard chassis plate is CNC-machined from German 7075-T6 aluminium with the combination of super-strong material and updated battery cutout resulting in improved flex characteristics for increased overall traction under all conditions. An additional cutout for the middle bearing block prevents it from twisting and keeps the belts perfectly aligned at all times. The Team Edition chassis is available now.

Epic 1 Designs pit board coming soon

Epic 1 Design pit board coming soon

During the recent Gold Cup at Tacoma Raceway Epic 1 Designs’ pit board caught a lot of attention. The surface has a special texture, side cut-outs allow for tools to sit in, and the size looks perfect for most pit bags. There is also a nice touch to the lower logo that actually has magnetic properties. The release date and price have yet to be confirmed.

RDRP Ultra Motor Distance Plate Set

Revolution Design Racing Products introduce the new Ultra Motor Distance Plate Set that helps to fine-tune the weight distribution of a variety of vehicles such as in-line motored off-road buggies or touring cars with transversal motor position. The shims help to shift the motor forth and back or left and right in order to optimise weight distribution without the need for additional weights. On pan cars the plates also adjust the weight balance of the rear pod if needed. Motors with ultra long shafts can be re-shimmed to avoid any contact between the shaft and the battery pack or other equipment. The set includes a 1.0mm and one 2.0mm plate, both being made of black anodised aluminium with laser-etched logos.

AKA 17mm wheel nut wrench

Seen for the first time during the recent IFMAR 1/8th Buggy World Championships in Sicily and available now is AKA’s 17mm wheel wrench. The tool is made from machined and anodised aluminium for a durable and aesthetically pleasing look. The wrench has been optimised to fit all open and enclosed face wheel nuts and the over-sized handle features laser etched AKA logos and fits nicely into the palm of your hand, offering plenty of leverage to get those over-tightened nuts off in a breeze.

JConcepts pre-trimmed 6.5" Hi-Clearance wings

JConcept’s IFMAR World Championship winning Hi-Clearance 1/10th buggy wing is now available as a drop-on fit for the RC10B5 and RC10B5M. Debuted at the 2011 IFMAR Worlds, the Hi-Clearance wing design has been used with success on medium to large sized tracks where fast, at-speed handling is required. Moulded in exclusive and durable polycarbonate, the wing features a beefy feel but light-weight enough to be considered a race wing. It comes pre-trimmed with clean, smooth edges and it is ready to become decorated or scuffed to your liking. The wing is available specifically drilled for the B5 or B5M.

Spec-R R1 2.25mm main chassis & 2.0mm upper deck

Spec-R have two new carbon fibre option parts for the R1 touring car available. First up is a 2.25mm main chassis that offers a less waisted shape than the Pro Spec item for improved flex characteristics. Also new is a 2.0mm upper deck for the R1. The part helps to adjust chassis flex to you liking by mixing and matching it with the different chassis types.

Infinity TLR 22 front shock tower

X Factory release the next part in its new Infinity line of option parts in the form of a carbon fibre front shock tower for the TLR 22 buggy. Made of 4mm fibre material, the tower is stronger than moulded plastic and almost 20 percent lighter, helping to scrub around 2 grams of weight in the front of the car.
